Now for the poll, my latest painting clocked in around 31 hours of footage. Which length do you prefer? I plan to add narration to whichever one most people choose. The 3 hour one is an easy pace to watch, but can seem a bit slow at parts. The 90 minute one feels more consistent, with less pauses.
I will only be able to narrate about 90 minutes for either one, so for the 3 hour one, I will focus on the big picture ideas. For the 90 minute one, I will be able to talk about more specifics but with less big topics.

I think longer videos are still a good idea like your art journey video. Maybe depending on what the subject matter is, a longer video is appropriate? I've seen some people do mostly timelapse videos of their work, but once in a while throw in a real time video when they're looking to explain some part of their process in more detail. Just a thought :)

2022-01-19 17:04:47 +0000 UTC1.5 definitely seems like the better route. It'll be nice to have longer videos every now and then, but prioritizing commentary I believe is the way to go. Also side question. What were the details for your "roast my art challenge" you recently posted? I can't seem to find it anywhere but I remember we needed to submit our work before the 20th. I'd like to take a part in it.
