Tempest's Dispatches - December

Despite my illness I actually managed to get a surprising amount done. The area that saw the most progress was my brushless motor gearbox, which I was able to print, assemble and get working before Christmas. I also managed to get the AS4058a encoder working with the ESP32, and my first SimpleFOCmini boards arrived.
Over the Christmas period I also played with some ideas for devices I want to build in 2023, including modelling up a configuration for my Robotouch concept. I also started to learn about how to draw printed circuit boards in Fusion360.
I’ve found from experience that December is always a month for which I have to manage my expectations, but the circumstances I think it went well.
