It’s been an interesting mix of a slow, hard slog to get documents written and some blue skies experimentation with python scripts. As you will have seen I have released an update to the OSR2 document to bring it fully up to date with all the latest upgrades, etc. It’s also undergone a significant aesthetic overhaul with a swanky new cover and all new assembly photographs. I have also been having a play with some OpenCV computer vision functions in python that do motion tracking. I have created and shared with you guys a python script that can take a video of, say, a woman dancing and generate a set of .funscript files for it. Pretty cool!
In May we also had our second Benefactors’ Hangout, the recording of which is available above. Telani and I had fun going through the motion tracking python code I have been working on. I see these hangouts as an opportunity to have a chat about work in progress that I, or any of you guys, might have. There will definitely be more in the future, so keep an eye on discord for the time and date, and do join us if you can make it, even if you just want to tune in and listen.
I’ve also been continuing my work on the brushless motors, but I covered that topic last month so I’ll save the motor stuff until I have something noteworthy to report.
