May Update

Hi Guys, here's my update for May.

This month I have resolved to get my "start here" post for the Maker ($8) tier updated. That means getting the new twist module into the SR6 build instructions and updating all of the photos (yes, all of them!) in the OSR2 build instructions up to date. It's a lot of work but it needs to be done. I think it's important to draw a line under a current design before I release something new. Look for that release in the next couple of weeks.

I still have a number of extras I want to try for my two robots, but I've also been pursuing some new tech that I think might have enormous potential for a new device. My benefactors ($16 tier) will have seen some of the experiments I have been conducting in my recent dispatches. We're some way from a prototype device, but I'm thinking it's looking promising.

All I'll say publicly at this point is that I want to make something simpler, but I want to address the biggest issue with OSR2 and SR6 as they are at present, which is noise.

For my Supporter ($2) tier this month I will be livestreaming on Monday 16th May at 11pm BST (5pm EDT). This month I'm thinking I might go over the T-valve, and of course I'll follow it up with an edited video. I've put the date quite late in the month because honestly I think I'm coming down with a cold or something. Just what I need with all of this work I still have to do!
