Time and the lack there of

We have never missed our Tuesday release. We have, however, released on Tuesday night in a desperate fervor.

This may be one of those weeks. Still trying to catch up after that week off, followed by 3 days in GA for an event, and we had to refilm some outdoor material. Add on that my two planned episodes became three...that still need indoor filming...and the schedule is going to be tight. I am expecting at least one sleepless night.

However that does mean most pre-production will be done for 6 more weeks so afterwards maybe I can keep the momentum and get caught up.

In the background: we are finally starting to move some rare ammo into production: the Nagants and Gassers.

However, a reliable source of custom dies has proven elusive. Especially for our time table.

Quality counts, both of your episodes and your personal quality of life. It does none of us any good....including yourself.....if you become a textbook case of enthusiasm burnout. Better to miss your own self-imposed deadline than to beat yourself to a pulp trying to make it. I assure you the person most concerned about being on time is yourself. Most if not all of your true fans and supporters will gladly wait. Now clear your mind of concern and get some much deserved rest!

Richard Anderson

My opinion is also to not worry too much about deadlines. A steady rate is great, but not if it means sacrificing your health and sanity. We can wait.

For quality, I can wait another day. I will join my voice to others here and ask you not to endanger your health over self-imposed deadlines. I'm with you folks for the duration.

Kent W.Fevurly

I don’t have you on a clock, I’d rather you were rested and healthy. That way we get more snd better over time. Also, you have a better life.

Harold Snyder

CH/4D out of MT Vernon, Ohio has been around for a long time and should have just about any dies you need. Check out the Caliber List on their web site. If they don't have it, they will make a custom set. Great people, I have been doing business with them for years.

if you do custom dies though and are setting up a group as bruce has said which is a great idea. maybe let us know on here. so I can only speak for myself, but I don't go on forums much I don't have the time but if I found out on here I would to sign up for dies, depending on the caliber of course. just my 2 cents

Jared Kennedy

WRT the custom dies issue, I know Lee Precision will do custom runs, but you have to order a certain # to get the whole thing off the ground. That's where setting up a group buy on a special interest forum comes into play...

Bruce Brodnax

Take your time brother. If you need an extra day or two, take it. We'll be waiting patiently.

Peter A

I'm a patreon. I expect high quality content. You and your team delivered so far. You just keep that up. I can wait. I want the "what you are satisfied to release" stuff, not the "this is what we got" stuff. I have plenty of other channels to watch in the mean time. I edited away the "keep cool" comment. It was daft. Maybe a consistent publishing scheme is is a growth factor, in general, but for me it's not. Just wanted you to know that. I'm happy with what I get. I'll stay patreon.

You guys need not worry. Take some extra time to make the episode you want to make. Sticking to some arbitrary deadline isn’t always feasible. You can get back on track for the next one.

Andrew Paul

First, as others have said before, we don't care if you make or miss the deadline 'cause we love the what you and the C&Rsenal crew do. Second (and most importantly), get yourself out of this hole! Miss the so-called deadline and skip the next one. Or do a quick, easy, and short Squib program for the next release. Build in the time so you are ready to go before the release date. Don't work yourself to death. I'm worried that you are pushing yourself too much. You need to chill.

Jason

I saw a program on the SAC operation chrome dome. One B52 commander reminded his co workers after he left the airforce not to let work stress get to you, unless your mistake will contaminate 100 square miles of earth for 50,000 years.

John Stucchi

While I appreciate the dedication, I would appreciate your sanity and happiness more lol Don't kill yourselves over these episodes. If its going to be late so be it I can wait an extra day or two. Othias you are the man that's for sure

Christopher Pettirsch

While it would be nice to flex once in a while, the top two indicators of growth are frequent releases and keeping a consistent schedule. We can't really accomplish the first, but we can the second.

C&Rsenal

I'm okay with that. You not running yourself ragged is worth a 18 or 24-hour delay in the episode release.

BumroyV2

Your awesome! I know deadlines and it is the most stressful thing in my life.

John Stucchi

I don't support you for your schedule, but for your quality. That quality is only possible when you're healthy and rested. Take care of you and the quality will happen because that's the kind of person you are. I think everyone here respects and trusts you.

Don't kill yourself, my friend. A video isn't like the D-Day Landings. If you work yourself into the hospital; then the schedule will really be disrupted.

Jasper Welsch

would rather wait for a quality program that a rushed one, take your time, do it right and look after your health

Schedule? Publish when you're finished. Worth waiting for, always.

OLLE3770

No worries take your time and get some sleep.

GunnerFreeman

My vote is for quality over deadlines. I would rather wait and get your best, than rush and get less.

No worries. I know it means a lot to you to hit your release deadlines, and we are all rooting for you, but at the end of the day it's isn't worth undue stress to hit that self imposed deadline. The quality of your show and depth of information is unparalleled and that takes time. As patrons, we all support you and believe in you. One or two days later in the grand scheme of things is just another day. I am sure the quality will be worth the wait.

Adam Chang

If you fail to get it out exactly on time I'll pull my patronage!!!! But seriously though. Sleep is more important than scheduling.

Jeff Freeman

We are all rooting for you all. No worries.
