For some reason, on the first few days of every month, this displayed value drops, even when the actual pledged amount hasn't changed.

2018-07-02 11:07:13 +0000 UTCThe linework and color are on different layers, and in particular the irises are often on a separate layer so that they can be adjusted. Sometimes just a pixel or two makes a significant difference.

On the other, I end up staring at beryl's face in the last panel while my eyes slowly cross, until I end up touching it up in mspaint, relentlessly frustrating myself with micro-adjustments haha. Do you keep the facial features on their own layer?

That would not be easy. One of the nightmarefuelish things in Warcraft lore are the battle of Shattrah where the dranei facing a force out to commit genocide have to pretend that they where wiped out. That meant sacrificing a city, defenders, civilians including children. To give the horde one last massacre to let them think that they got them all.
