let's watch what if: 2x09! ~captain carter & kahhori tag-team to save the multiverse!~

~what if the mcu continuously retread character development lol~

no but kahhori & peggy are a fun team-up! and i'd love to give a moment of appreciation to kahhori for almost immediately communicating with peggy & giving her the full details of the situation the second they stopped fighting, love to see it πŸ˜‚

however @ marvel, i would also ~love~ to see some variety in the ships next season, if we're going to keep focusing on the romantic elements of these characters πŸ˜‚ i'm just saying, the buckynat stans would be very appreciative of even just a lil scene πŸ˜… anyways, this was a fun season! i loved seeing more of peggy, i loved loki's hamlet moment, i loved how we didn't have to watch tony & nat die a bunch of times (lol), & i can't wait to see what universes & characters we'll be exploring in season 3 :)

i hope you guys enjoyed this season, too, & had some fun with it!! thanks for watching along with me!

also !! i'm currently watching/filming echo, so as soon as i finish with that, i'll start editing the episodes & getting them up here asap! in the meantime, i hope you guys are doing well! & i'll see ya'll for the next one πŸ–€

@1:37: M'dear, all Peggy has to do is ask to leave. Let the girl be broody about star-crossed with Steve for a hot second. @3:42: I did not pick up on the vibes of Armani Strange the first time around, or played it off to him already being a villain. @6:47: I mean, technically, she hasn't. She went into the HYDRA portal hoping to come back to Steve, tried to save winterized Hydra Stomper Steve in Russia, and Forerunner Steve himself hit the Gauntlet Reset Button in 1602. @9:31: The power scaling in this episode doesn't make any sense. Peggy's vibranium shield, which absorbs *kinetic* energy blocks magic energy. Kahhori, who has Space Stone energy somehow can overpower Infinity Killmonger's whole set of Stones. @12:34: "They won't show either of them holding Mjolnir." If Steve can wield it, there's no reason Peggy can't. She's lived basically a parallel life. Also, we haven't seen enough of Kahhori, but if she's been heroing long enough to be fluent in English, no doubt she's exhibited both the nobility and the self-sacrifice to earn it. @13:50: Apologies for the repeated Um, Actuallying, but that's not a manifestation of Strange's grief. He absorbed the power of dozens of magical creatures to become Strange Supreme. That's a literal chimera of demons wanting to shatter the veil between dimensions. The show really said, "The first episode may have been a little formulaic, but goddamn we're not missing any opportunity to use Peggy Carter." I think Marvel realized it was mistake casting Hayley Atwell as a one-off love interest. She's too good. I hope you're right that Season 3 will be exactly that, but I think we both know if it is, Peggy will be intervening by Episode 3x02. Anyway, I know I'm joining you on this journey six months late, but I was jonesing for a Jess fix.

Did you watch the end credits on this episode? There is an easter egg scene that shows up during the credits that definitely confirms season 3 of What If (it’s been confirmed). Can’t wait!
