Should I increase the resolution of images?
Added 2018-11-10 02:49:23 +0000 UTCProcreate (the app I use to draw) just updated with new features, among them cropping and resizing. With that it got me thinking of upping the resolution of my pics a lil' bit from 2048 x 1536 to 2731 x 2048.
I usually use the 2048x1536 resolution for my pics cuz it's the native iPad resolution and it's higher than 1080p. Witht that, Procreate allows me 62 layers, but if I increase it to 2731x2048, I get halved in the layer count to 31. Given my pics have between 14 and 20 layers I imagine it would be manageable.
The main question I is:
"Are my pic sizes ok or should I up the resolution?"
Cuz if I do, I'll have to rework the lineart of some already inked and flatcolored images to compensate the upscaling and keep things sharp. So it will set me back a lil' bit.
