Membership Price Increase!

I'm posting to let you all know that starting Monday, September 1st, the membership price for the Freshman tier will increase from $2.00-per-month to $3.00-per-month. Patreon has sent several notifications encouraging the change due to rising processing fees, rising foreign transaction fees, and they no longer recommend pricing tiers below $3.00 moving forward.
The membership prices for the Sophomore and Junior tiers will remain unchanged at this time. Yes...a 'Senior' tier is still coming soon...😬
However, if you are currently a Freshman member, you will be locked in at the $2.00-per-month membership for life unless you choose to cancel in the future. However, all new members after Monday, September 1st will be subjected to the new membership pricing.
I have held off on making this change as I want to keep this community and its content as affordable as possible, but I also need to price things in a way that makes sense on the backend.
If you are seeing this post and have been considering joining (or maybe even re-joining), here's a little heads up to jump in on the original tier price before the change! 🙂

Really appreciate that, Drew! I don't have a ton of flexibility with all of that, but if you're wanting to pay the new price, you can just cancel / resubscribe, and nothing should change for you internally (nothing will be deleted or anything).

2025-09-09 19:36:04 +0000 UTCI’m a $2 member and am happy to pay the new price. Can you make that happen without me cancelling and resubscribing? I don’t play (yet), so the higher tiers don’t make sense for me. This channel has me looking on marketplace for a bass occasionally.
