I enjoy hearing your takes on music (not even limited to the bass) that doesn't always get approached respectfully or sometimes even approached at all.In that vein I'll propose "Gravity" by post-hardcore pioneers Moss Icon. The song features an unusual and prominent (and great to me) mid-song compositional choice that I've never heard in *any* other song. The bass by Monica DiGialleonardo isn't technical, but she and the entire band are wonderfully intuitive.
