If song request reactions are the path you want to focus on, then I feel your monetary gain is highlighting that you need to join on patreon to have your requests considered. However, not everyone is able / willing to join. There can be a once per week (or two weeks, or month) reaction video for the "most requested" songs from the youtube comments. That way your youtube base doesn't feel alienated.

2024-02-14 00:15:27 +0000 UTCInitially I thought here on Patreon but I voted for YouTube. It would reach more people and probably would give you a better return, and isn't behind a paywall. Also, doing a reaction on YouTube to something we've requested here gives you the opportunity to mention your Patreon 😁 Maybe still having the occasional Patreon exclusive would be good as well.
