Fighter Martial Archetype | Life Reaver
Added 2020-12-22 05:13:08 +0000 UTCBeen working on several projects and trying to sure-up the Pet Dealer Merchant Guild. In the mean time, I put together an all new Fighter subclass, the Life Reaver. Kind of an experiment in seeing how to write a feature that fixes "bag-o-rats" type exploitable features and toys really hard with healing through attacks. It wound up being based a lot off of one of my favorite monsters in the game, the Nightwalker.
Life Reaver
The grim fighting techniques of Life Reavers steal away the very essence of their enemies, empowering and healing the reaver that struck them down. These grim warriors draw this fell power from the Negative Plane, a dimension of hostile annihilation that tears apart the fabrics of life and is normally only hospitable to the undead.
The life reaver tempts fate by drawing on this power, as the potential to be pulled into the midnight realm and be replaced with one of its other many horrors is always a haunting possibility.
