Speedrun Explained 48 & 49: Update 2

Hey all!

Hope your holidays treated you well and you're off to a good start on your new year. I just got settled back at my place after traveling for the holidays and being forced to be out-of-town a bit longer than originally planned (thanks Southwest). Just wanted to put out a quick update for the next couple videos and the recent Patreon goal that was met.

The first of the two videos currently in production is the Silent Assassin, Suit Only speedrun of HITMAN 3. I've started the script for this video, but expect to be really able to dive in and start actual work on the script tomorrow. With the scope of the video, I hope to have the script done sometime early next week, and the video posted to Patreon sometime around the start of the week of the 23rd. Also, quick update on the Control All Bosses run, I've had the call with the runner for it, but the rest of the work for that video will be for after the HITMAN 3 video wraps up.

Not much else to update on in terms of the videos, everything is going per usual on that front, but we did recently hit the 350 Patron milestone. For that, I'll be posting a Fan-Fiction Friday this Friday, posting a date for the live Q&A (thinking sometime early-mid next week, maybe the 10th or 11th), and posting a suggestion thread for the next Patron's Choice Poll where you get to suggest runs to include on a poll for you all to choose a future SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED. The suggestion thread will likely be going up sometime late next week, after the Q&A. Also, for the Q&A, I'll be making a post announcing the date/time for it later this week, and on that post you'll be able to comment any questions you'd like to ask in advance, in case you aren't able to make it to the livestream or anything like that.

That's about all, sorry there isn't much detail in this post, but have had a lot in flux lately and don't have much else to share other than that! Thank you all and hope you're all doing well!
