I too got so confused by that bloody miracles woman who has the key to huntsman's copse. She hadn't even moved from Heide's Tower of Flame for me because I hadn't talked to enough times, because I knew I wasn't going to bother with miracles. Was genuinely annoyed at that. DS1 never gave you much instruction but there was never a point where I had no idea where to go.
