60,000?! I remember the 5,000 subscriber livestream. I'm so proud of you man. I didn't even realize how much your channel has grown. You deserve all 60,000.

This is the episode I wish a lot of people that talk about how “JYP let X talented person go” or “I can’t believe JYP cut Y person when they’re such an amazing singer” would see. JYP doesn’t care if you’re the most talented person in the world. They care about work ethic and integrity. If they don’t see that, you’re cut.

Watching Jihyo being stunned at the intensity of the gym workout in this episode, knowing now she loves working out and is currently modeling Under Armor on magazines is quite remarkable. It's also interesting seeing how much Dahyun has changed since Sixteen. You'd never think current Dahyun wouldn't fit the qualities that JYP mentioned.

I’m glad you’re feeling better thina! Yeah this episode definitely feels like so many parts in one lol. Also by the way, Somi is making a comeback sometime in august, you should check her out! :)

I think you misinderstood jyp. Yes he sometimes controlling. However what he emphasize is you have to be good person so you don't have to be careful. And i think it's common for idol in their first year really careful with their mouth. Even twice in their first few years were not spoken that much. Nowadays they have freedom to say it loudly. Plus jype is big company, their scandal will cause big damage than smaller companies with same level scandal. Among big 3 i think twice is sometimes overworked but have more freedom.

I never forget when I'm watching anything JYP does, that my emotions are being manipulated. I enjoy his shows, but I'm always aware of what he's doing and some of it is unnecessarily cruel. Artists who have left his company have complained about his controlling nature. I prefer the approach of Happyface and Dreamcatcher Company who encourage their artists to express their personalities without having the company trying to 'protect their image'. I feel more connected to them because I'm seeing them unfiltered.

Doesn't seem Chaeyoung taking Somi's necklace/spot caused a rift, as you expressed concern about. They seem to be particularly close friends, going out to eat together and appear together on SNS, even after Somi had departed JYPE to join YG/Black Label. I do think the mechanism of having one girl literally take something away from another girl does have the potential to cause subconscious animosity and hurt, but it seems like the girls (at least the ones who've remained in the public eye) understand it was "part of the game" and don't hold the grudges against each other.

The whole sitdown with JYP, was really lifting and glad they put it on the program and can be inputed in our lives too. The whole voting segment is brutal. Since they were young at the time, it was only by a few votes not being in the top 7 but it shouldn’t effect saying they were “bad members.” Glad there were no elimination but damn like you said, they were soooo young lol Glad this episode was a calm episode after last episode lol

speaking of Taecyeon, here's a video of Jihyo throwing a ball at him when she was little 😂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4b1KoRj8_s&ab_channel=MatthewLansberry

the only reason sana and jihyo gained weight was because they were thinking of quitting before this show they said
