LGR - Ikari Warriors Review from 2009!

After being taken offline for years, my very first retro PC game review on LGR is viewable again!

This Ikari Warriors video was hit with a copyright snafu years ago, back before I was a partner and Content ID was much more crazy. I remade the video a while back as well, but yeah, it's still cool to go back and see some classic LGR. Plus my first old PC game covered!

C64 version was waaay better!

You've come a long, long way.

No jokes, just randomness from 6 years ago

LGR lol

Na Lata

I miss the old LGR intro <3

Boomtown Fox

Haha I cant get anywhere in that game :D

Lastseengaming

Why Duel of the Fates? Am I missing a joke or just overthinking it?

Esme

I was confused as heck when I saw the title. I'm like "Wait, LGR already reviewed this, why a second time?" Then I read the description and everything now makes sense.

The Enforcer

It was the music! And it's from a Star Wars soundtrack, so yeah, it got caught pretty easily :)

Nice to see a non-HD LGR video from the vaults. Never seen this one before since I only started watching your stuff in 2013. Even features the 2009 version of The Closet! (And shows early usage of your hand shtick that's so common in your videos now, hehe)

Lindsay Michelle

I love the intro..

Why was the video Content ID'ed for? The Gregorian chant music?

Roy Taylor

Absolutely, music is a minefield. This video is one of the few cases where being partnered with Maker Studios, who is owned by Disney, came in handy!

LGR

This was addressed in my updated review in 2012 :)

I think if you run Num Lock off, you'd be able to control with the numeric pad.

Roger C. Rocha

Yeah... I'm learning to be extra careful about the whole music thing now, especially given that I'm using YouTube instead of Blip. Even if the song is DEFINITELY made for the game, that's no guarantee that whoever remixed it hasn't claimed it in the Content-ID system. Earthworm Jim and Worms are both examples of this. :P

Blast from the past :) love the intro!

jmmreview

Gotta love that classic intro. :)
