Why are there only 435 members in the U.S. House of Representatives?

I am so freaking excited to release this one. After the recent Supreme Court Chevron decision, I think this is now more relevant than ever.

But what do you think? Should the the U.S. House of Representatives expand its membership? Let me know. I'm really curious what y'all think about this issue. I truly believe it could be the key to solving a lot of our country's current problems.

Thank you for your continued support!

Yes we definitely need a drastically expanded House. It’s a crucial first step in addressing many of the issues we’re facing today

Woah woah woah...one thing at a time Dante. πŸ˜† But seriously, I think expanding the House membership is a good first step. It's certainly not the end game.

Here's where I'm at: Abolish the Senate. Abolish the Electoral College. Expand the Supreme Court and yes, expand the House of Representatives. As correctly stated above and in the video, gerrymandering is a real problem. It's distorted our representation... While there are good arguments behind all these positions I don't see any good evidence that it has any pragmatic traction to manifest in reality.

I was thinking about the pretty litter since me and my GF got some spoiled babies.

Well put. I couldn't agree more.

I am all for more reps! I don’t know how as a country we can justify Wyoming and Delaware getting the same number of representatives, especially when Delaware has damn near twice as many people, but falls short of the mathematical mark to get another representative? Besides social media, I think gerrymandering is one of the biggest causes of increased polarization. North Carolina a true swing state is exhibit A of the worst of gerrymandering and how the legislative branch will do anything to help their chances to stay in power.

We haven't had that problem for some reason

Mr. Beat

Hope they expand … see #55 Fed Paper … divide by least populated state. This could help get more political parties as influence.
