Patreon Changes & What’s Next for History Buffs Supporters

Hey guys, hope you're all doing well. I just wanted to give you a heads-up about a change that’s coming soon.

Patreon recently announced they’ll be removing the option to charge per video by November, which is how I’ve run things from the beginning. As many of you know, I don’t upload every single month, and I’ve never thought it was fair to charge you when I haven’t got something to show for it.

Unfortunately, that won’t be possible anymore. I’ll continue charging per video here until November, but in the meantime, I’m going to start a £1/month membership over on YouTube. The main perk there will be mini episodes, like my recent review of Warfare. That said, I’ll make sure you guys still have access to those minis here too . No extra charge until Patreon phases out the per-video model.

When November comes, I’ll retire the current Patreon tiers and rework them into a monthly membership setup. If you’re happy to support me monthly, I’d be honoured to have you. If not, I completely understand. I’m incredibly grateful for all the support you’ve given me over the years. It’s thanks to you that History Buffs still exists.
