What's my release schedule?

“When’s the next video out?” is a comment I’ve read a ‘healthy’ amount of times since beginning the release of my new source to sea series.

First off, I’m totally amazed and grateful that so many of you want to see this journey unfold. I’ve been working on this project alone for months, so seeing it gain so much traction is incredibly vindicating, and I’d like to say a massive thank you for deciding to support what I do here!

This project is a completely solo endeavour. Everything from the filming, to editing, to the map graphics (bar the artwork from the talented Louise Saunders), to subtitling, to thumbnails - it’s all me. So your patience is appreciated while I continue slowly piecing this thing together.

With all that being said, the next instalment will be out on Thursday 26th!

I understand, that for some, this will feel like an age, but with the longer video length and density of content I’m trying to pack into each instalment, one video every three weeks is a release schedule I feel like I can be consistent with.

As I always ensure that I’m one video ahead for supporters, on Thursday 26th, Part 2 will drop on YouTube and Part 3 will come out for you all here on Patreon and YT Memberships.

I hope this serves to answers your questions. I’m now going to get back to editing!

Merry Christmas and I’ll hopefully see you on Boxing Day for Part 3 🎉

Wow, so soon! I can’t wait!!

I think people thought, as the first two parts were released within a week of each other, that the next parts would come in a similar one video per week interval. At least I did. But three weeks is perfectly fine, especially if you do it all by yourself. And even if you can't keep up the three week schedule all the time, it's ok. I'm all for quality over quantity.

Radi8

Wow, this is much quicker than I expected. Very exciting! Hope you find time for a Christmas break in between all this hard work!

Can’t wait, Ed. I saw the first one on YouTube and just had to sign up here to watch the second. I imagine it starts to get less…eventful, the further down river. But I’m still buzzing to see how the rest of the journey went.

Jay Briers

Merry Christmas! All the best with everything. No matter how long videos take we'll be here for it, great quality stuff like yours takes time!
