Part 2 - Source to Sea down the River Thames WITHOUT Leaving it

The mission down the Thames continues! The aim for this instalment - reach my kayak in Cricklade, so I can put the wading behind me and finally begin paddling towards London!

You’re the right type of crazy. Loved this episode so very much. And extra props for the typography in on-screen titles—so tastefully done

Thank you so much for putting this together, and including all the little interactions you had with people along the way. It’s so awesome to see people approaching you full of curiosity and kindness. I also admire your commitment to the task, too, and the patience you extend to everyone you meet that wants to ask questions. This kind of content that leaves me feeling nourished, rather than the typical draining feeling from time spent on phone. Looking forward to part 3

Monique Hiskens

Couldn’t wait for ep 2 on YouTube. Now I can’t wait for ep 3!

Ethan Aschenbrenner

I have a feeling this series is going to make you properly blow up. I personally couldn’t wait for episode 2 so here I am. I’ve never had patreon before but I got it as soon as I found out I could watch this series early.

Nothing gets the jazz hands flailing like some high-quality ed 🤗 cheers mate this is good stuff.

Brian Sackett

When can we expect the next episode Ed, we’re patiently anticipating 👍🙏

Elliott Styles

This series is addictive, very much anticipating the next episode, thank you!

James Barker

Wow! My name on the kayak! Double wow! You saucy boy with your striptease! Triple wow! Getting through all of those narrow, debris-clogged sections was a marvel - and you did it so well. (I was going to say you did it swimmingly but you might have wanted to punch me out for that terrible pun.) Every part of this series looks to be more exciting than the previous parts. Be well.

Warren Snaider

I suspect the holes in the river bank belong to Water Voles!

Corey Owen

Mate that tunnel crawl was ridiculous

Freddie Wootton

Great episode - the amount of strength you show in your trips don't stop to astound me. I was surprised to see that somebody did quite complete 'street view' for the river... I'm trying not to spoil myself and I looked on the parts you traveled through already :D

Daniel Michewicz

you are just the best kind of crazy :D

Thiemo Fischer

Well done Ed, we met you at Thames Ditton. Loving the films so far, can't for episode 3.

Barnaby Piercy

And people say Northerners are more friendly than southerners. You would not get treated like this doing the mersy ahah

Richard Deverall

Do you do talks/presentations? As a retired secondary teacher I know that you would be a great inspiration to young folk because your adventures are feasible for all who have the necessary physical ability and who may not have the finances for more exotic trips. I’d be happy to sort out introductions to my former school in Aberystwyth or my grandchildren’s school in Cardiff and discuss fees, expenses etc. I also want to make available my items such as a bivy bag, kayak, tent etc to aspiring adventurers to further reduce their expenses.

Phil Dennis

I respect the dedication to stay entirely in the river. If it were me, I would've gotten out dozens of times already!

Matthew Pederson

Love it, and love how you always manage to show the good in people, or rather give them a chance to show you. Lovely touch with the names on the boat, similar to something Jason Lewis did on his “expedition 360” trip

2TyredTravellers

I hope so. Lately I've been trying to focus on trip ideas that anyone could feasibly put off - if inclined

Ed Pratt

I love how you create your own adventures. It’s such an inspiration for others. It shows that you don’t need to spend a fortune to be an ‘explorer’.
