Hi all!
June was very eventful. As I expected, the offensive of the Ukrainian troops began. Of course, this is not like what happened during the Second World War. Now, after a detailed reconnaissance of the enemy positions, artillery shelling is being carried out, after which small groups of about 3 tanks and several armored personnel carriers storm the enemy positions. This happens all along the perimeter of hostilities. It's like looking for weaknesses. In addition, it deprives the enemy of the opportunity to concentrate troops, since the attack occurs everywhere.
In addition, I want to note that there is quite a bit of information about how the counteroffensive is going on, the secrecy regime is working, which is probably right. Of course, when some areas are captured the next day, everyone is already talking about it. The Russian invaders have built 5 lines of defense, each reinforcing the previous one and it is very difficult to attack. It is difficult to describe the fighting in words, it is better to understand it from the video:
In addition, I am not a military expert and cannot give an objective assessment.
However, in the last month:
- the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian troops began.
- the Russians blew up the Kakhovka dam in order to delay our troops and reduce the territory along which our forces will advance. (this is a giant disaster, they drained a 500 km long reservoir !!!)
- there is a gradual pushing back of the Russians, they suffer serious losses.
- The Russians continue to bombard peaceful cities with long-range missiles, there were many casualties last month.
- Prigozhin (head of the Wagner PMC) finally fell out with the Russian military leadership, organized an uprising and went with an army of about 15 thousand people to capture Moscow.
Of course, this is a separate story, you probably heard about it. In general, PMCs are banned in Russia, and Putin allowed Wagner, and if the tsar allowed it, then the laws no longer apply.
Thus, in Russia there are actually 2 armies, official and, as it were, shadow. They constantly clashed with each other over resources. For example, it was such that the soldiers of PMC Wagner came to military units and simply took away cars, provisions and even tanks from the Russian army by force!
It sounds like nonsense, but there is evidence for it. At the same time, the soldiers were beaten and there were even cases of rape. After that, the soldiers of the Russian army began to mine the roads along which the soldiers of the Wagner army traveled. This has already led to armed conflicts and skirmishes. Then the Russian government ordered the Wagner PMC to be disbanded and all fighters transferred to the leadership of the Russian army. But Prigozhin refused and organized a real military mutiny.
It was epic, he went to Moscow to take over the military leadership of Russia. No one could block his path, since all the troops are on the front line with the army of Ukraine. They tried to stop him with the help of aviation, but the Wagner PMC destroyed 3 helicopters and 2 aircraft.
When Moscow was 200 km away, Wagner's army stopped because they managed to reach an agreement. What are the terms of the agreements, no one knows. However, Prigozhin will leave Russia with part of his army.
Of course, it is better to look for details and videos on the Internet. However, in fact, this is a historical event; there has not been such a military uprising in Russia for a long time. The end of this regime is very close.
And we continue to hope that the war will end soon and good times will come.
