Favorite Quest Formats
Added 2024-03-07 13:25:45 +0000 UTCHey, guys! As promised earlier, I will be making more posts to gather your preferences and help shape the game.
Some of you may have noticed that I like to experiment with quest formats depending on what I want to write, and the game doesn't follow a strict structure. So, I want to know your opinions. What do you like the most?
1. More Big and Linear Quests : Examples: "When you stay in a cabin with Oliver, When you go hitchhike for the first time with Luna."
- Pros: Allows for better progression of the story and conveying specific ideas.
- Cons: Takes longer to create, limiting additional content for characters like Mayazon, repeat scenes, etc.
2. Quests More Direct to the Point : Examples: "Luna Date, Oliver bus trip to the college, Visit Linda in the officer, Most Data quests."
- Pros: Takes less time to create, providing more time for additional scenes like Mayazon, repeat scenes, hangouts, etc.
Cons: Can sometimes feel rushed, with fewer main quest H scenes, as most scenes is in character additional scenes.
3. Quests with More Steps and Small Scenes : Examples: "Luna's first time going to the Dandelion cult in the arcade, Experimenting new things with Oliver."
- Pros: Easy to follow, good length, multiple scenes, and I have more time to address and progress multiple aspects of the story.
- Cons: Slightly more annoying to code, similar to big linear quests in terms of time consumption. It can be hard to find good videos to go along with some scenes.
