(Outdated Info) Patreon's New Fee Structure

Hi all,
You should have received an official email from Patreon regarding their new fee structure. If you haven't read into it yet, TL;DR: new service fees will be added on top of your pledge amount. Please see this article for the full details.
I actually didn't even receive any notification of these fee changes and had to find out on social media myself, and looking around, I haven't seen a single creator nor patron happy about this. I'm hopeful that the backlash will make Patron think again, but there's no guarantee that they'll deviate from their plans.
Thanks as always for all of your patronage and I totally understand if these increased fees mess up budgeting and whatnot. Before December 31, 2017, please make sure to check and adjust your pledges to a level you're comfortable with!
I'll be keeping an eye on this situation and keep you updated on any changes.
