Attention for New Patrons who sign up with Apple Pay (Existing Patrons are fine)
Added 2024-10-30 23:04:16 +0000 UTCHey everyone, wanted to go over this for NEW patrons who may use Apple Pay to subscribe to Patreon.
Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app payment system in order to stay in the App Store.
This system adds new fees for purchases in the iOS app.
Important to Know: If you are already a Patron and currently using Apple pay, this does NOT affect you because you're already subscribed to a tier. Again, if you are a current paying patron, you are NOT affected.
Starting in November 2024, if you are reading this as a FREE Patron, if you wish to sign up through Apple Pay, the tiers will show a 30% increase in price.
To Avoid this fee, I recommend you subscribe through the desktop and THEN download the Patreon app to your device.
The Members on my website avoid the fees automatically since it requires you to sign up on desktop, and then you download the INVIROSE app.
