Just wanted to share the progression of Livia's image over the time of her being within Emi's story. I remember the very first one, and am honestly surprised of how stiff the second one is. Then again, if I recall correctly, this was around the times where I would feel like I was progressing, and then would fall back a bit, only to improve, then fall back, so that could have been the case.
For the recent one I like that it shows more … Emotion? I’ve been working to get the hang of expressions and will be honing more on that and anatomy this month with different parts of the body.
As much as I want to draw detailed elegant clothings, I told myself one thing at a time.
First, Anatomy, Perspective, Form, etc. Then focus on colors, shadows, highlights, etc. Then add in clothings, accessories, etc.
Backgrounds and landscapes, cities, etc will be final as I work to bring it altogether in proper frames, illustrations, and so forth.
It's good to look back at your beginnings, analyze where you are currently, and then have a game plan for future progressions.
For those who are working on their own crafts whether it's singing, writing, drawing, music, dance, business, etc, as Kate would say: "Be kind to yourself and appreciate how far you've come."

As you know I've been working on recovering (fully this time!) and reminding myself to take it easy. Re reading your comments and messages has been very helpful in keeping me focused to take time and NOT force my voice so that it heals completely.

Sweet moments that are more... sensory focused? At least, that's the goal. It works so I don't force any vocals until I'm able to speak properly without feeling any strain.

Ah now, as far as Arlecchino, it is indeed in the works, I just... i'll be honest. I was not pleased with it. I had it about 78% done, went back to really listen to it and I deleted it.
(It's not the first time I've deleted a near completed production and started anew. I've even had a few finished and done the same.)
My vocals weren't up to par as I had liked and with being sick last month, I had to really get them working again to capture the character well. I ask for forgiveness of my lateness, but as you know, I do not like the idea of posting something that I feel is not well done.
You all deserve fine quality with each and every performance.
The good news is, it's progressing much better with the re recording so I'm very pleased with the decision to redo it. I have it 67% done now and can't wait to share.

Ah! It's spooky month! I wont make this a long rant but Lilu is eager to have you in her room again. She has much she wants to share. For that particular story I've been trying to get the right sound for it but it's been difficult. I hope to bring it to production soon so we can all have a good fright. Maybe even discover something.. more? Deep within the depths of the story.
Oh, and I'll be posting an updated look for Livia as well this week. More than likely will be WIP but we shall see.

Pleasure to see you all again. Yes, we are still here, not to worry. We refuse to go anywhere~ Now, to start everything, I shall give the quick version for those who have busy schedules, and then below will be the Rants.
Quick Version: - Updated Emi Look! Hope you all enjoy. - Voice is recovered, halfway done with the next installment of Arlecchino in the Fontaine Acts! I hope you will enjoy the Performance. - Been observing Zenless Zone Zero to study their world for possible future Performances - During recovery I've finally got back into writing again. I know many of you also have works of your own that you write, play, draw, etc. I think it's wonderful to see and hear about your visions, updates, and the things you like to accomplish. Keep at it!
Alright that's the quick update, now for the Rant: I am excited to have Emi getting closer to the vision I had for her in mind. She's more of the girly type so I've been working on studying fashion, lace, etc and will work to capture more of that side of her in the near future. (Not to be confused with how Lilu would dress. Emi is a more reserved type while Lilu loves all the bows, frills, etc.) As I look at previous works of Emi I'm glad to see her coming along well.
My voice is back and fully recovered so yay! The changes have sorted themselves out in the weather so thankfully with the herbs and teas I'm back in productions and rehearsals. Halfway done with Arlecchino's Act. I truly enjoy doing her types of characters and look forward to having her come again after Fontaine segment is finished. Been watching videos of Zenless Zone Zero to get the feel of their world and how their society is structured. Definitely different from Genshin but I'm not against branching out to trying new games and characters. I'm thankful to you for the suggestion.
During the pause from Production, it was nice to slip back into writing again. It has been a while since I took a step at writing out a full completed concept. Sure we have the ongoing stories in the Acts and One Shots and trust me, I enjoy those as well. But to actually have a story in completion from start to finish is a rarity for me, especially since it's not as long as the ones about the Ladies of the Theatre, and Girls of the City. Taking the time to study the language, food, history, and everything to capture that setting for the character, while on top of that, not being feeling I need to hurry or rush, is refreshing.
I truly enjoy diving into another world and wish to capture that feeling for you all when you tune into the performance, close your eyes, and immerse yourselves into the sounds, the voices, the music, the experience. So with this one I worked on, as simple as it is, I shall have it set aside for the time being since it truly needs proper polishing and editing. For those of you who write, I'm sure you understand what I mean when you pretty much write to get everything out. And then as it's completed, you can take a breather to then go back and re write, edit, clean it up and maybe even adjust scenes to have better flow.
Ah... writing truly is a wonderful way to get out everything that's inside. For some they write out their thoughts through journaling, but for me, it's through story where I can become relieved. Having the character overcome their challenges, seeing them grow from uncertainty to full determination, it truly fills me with joy.
And now, that I've spent the couple of weeks getting that out of my system, I feel centered again in focusing on our works and carrying on the adventures that awaits us in the near future.

Wanted to post a WIP pic of Bella as I'm getting her ready for the Ultimatum chapter to Emi's story for upload on YT. I knew I wanted to update her look as I sort out some details so I hope it's in the right direction.
Hands are something I can't wait to master drawing so I can draw me choking myself of how much I struggled to capture her look. I find it interesting the Ladies of the Theatre are far easier for me to draw and sort out than the Girls of the City. I'm not sure why.
Either way, I can't believe I kept forgetting the Crowd hasn't seen the last chapter of the Emi story. (More to come) So I shall get Bella, Emi, and Livia drawn so that can be shared.
I finished Arlecchino's story quest finally and my thoughts about her were confirmed so I'm glad. I must say, I'm impressed. That's one of (if not, the only) story quest where every single character had a place.We actually learned about her past and her specifically which was phenomenal.
Verses the usual: doing a bunch of errands for some side characters, learn about their past instead, and still know nothing about the main character.
It's as if someone just focused on telling the story. So yay.
(I'm not trying to bash the other side stories, if you truly enjoyed them all then good! I have yet to finish a few so perhaps there's more that follow this format. <3)
Working on the next Act for Fontaine since we need to find out how she'll take your... report from your time with Furina.
That may take a moment so I may do another "Moments in the City" to fill in the time. Either way, looking forward to completing more as time progresses.

Patreon updated it's policies recently and thus threw a wrench in my concept I was building. I believe I've found a work around so there will be no issue. (Yes, even if it's Audio, it's also part of the policy)
On the website thankfully all is clear! So I shall continue the normal concept there and make a slight alt version for here. Either way the story is still similar, I just have to watch some key plots. (Just wanted to give a heads up)

Rant of Nothingness: Hair is ...... a beautiful thing. Why must it fight me tooth and nail to draw? Granted it's my own fault for once again complicating things.
"Break it down into simple large parts, then go from there." For some reason no matter how many times I heard that advice, I still made it complicated until it finally clicked, and now it's much easier to draw. I just now need to continue that advice as I lead more into clothing and fabrics, etc.
Keep it simple, then hone in on the details.

I. I'm happy to show our next Reveal is on the way! She's quite the sleeper so this will be a moment to gather everyone together and make this work. I'm happy to introduce her since she's done the role of Zena from Vampire Series, Candace from Genshin Traveler, and many others. ---
II. I said I would show more artwork and as always, I avoid it due to it not being "correct" or at least me showing the right amount of "progression." But finally I got out of the "But it's not---" thought's and here's a few now that I have the main part of the Intermission underway. The second photo shows more of how I went back to Day 1 of understanding mapping out the face with front, side, and 3/4 view. It's really rough sketches but it's nice to start to fully understand placement.
For the third photo, I finally got into what I like to call the "ball point method" (don't know the actual term, forgive me.) My biggest issue was I didn't know how to study figures and transfer it to creation. Even when I thought I had it figured out, I think the move saved me in taking a long break from drawing before I dived back in. Plus this new book that sort of blends everything together has been a treat. So there's some poses I've been able to observe and then correct as I get the hang of how the body functions. Hopefully in the near future I won't have to place so many guidelines and can just dive in. But i do understand it's nice to double check your placement to be sure it's all correct.
What I'm eager to do in the future is draw free poses for people to use. It'll be fun to see what people create from it. Mostly will be posted on the INVIBLUE side since that's more.. how does Lilu call it? "Free"? Artist calls it "Flexible" so I'll go with that. Plus with it being SFW, whenever anyone references us, they don't have to worry about being tied to NSFW. (I noticed some people prefer it for business purposes.)
...oh right I haven't mentioned that side. Really it's because it's not fully together yet, but when it is I'll bring it up more for those who are interested.
----- III. I've been working on a bit of a fun project and hope it goes well. Nothing too crazy but I think it will be a nice approach to people who wish for a more closeness with characters in mind. Grand Hall I will be making a separate post about it so it's not lost here but it will be a way for me to get feedback on a few things as well before it goes live. ---- IV. Kate is in the works. She's actually quite longer than i originally planned. Which is good! She hasn't spoken much and prefers to listen to you instead so hopefully she can still be a joy. After that I think the next installment of Taimanin is on the way. (Please comment below if I had something else and forgot. Trying to keep up with the stories)
---- V. ... I'm missing something I know I am--- oh right! Gamers! Or rather, Indie Gamers! I'm putting together a beginners Voice Pack and have a few lines in mind. You've arrived to the city of Fontaine, the Hydro Nation. As extravagant as the personalities may be, you take precaution in avoiding trouble. But no matter how much you try, you seem to be pulled back into center stage of the Act. ----- With her arrival around the corner I hope whoever is pulling for her succeeds! With that said, it took me a while to get a feel for her voice. Every VA did phenomenal in each language which is a rarity. Usually I prefer one over the other but I enjoy how each one captured a specific quality of her. I do hope my own take is well received. Since we've ventured into Fontaine, there's many ways this can go~
---- Rant of Nothingness: FINALLY! I've figured out the major issue in what's been causing such delay in drawing facial form. Since the beginning I've always been drawn to the Seinen style. But that is quite intermediate for those who are beginning at ground zero like myself. (at least, it was for me. Kudos to those who caught on quickly) The confusion began when there's plenty of influencers as well as new books printed in showing how and where for placement to be for the face.
The issue here is I've learned from the Loomis method of drawing. Then I'd try to follow these current tutorials only to find myself at a loss of why I'm not getting it.
It finally made sense when I reached for one of my older tutorial manga books and saw they too followed the Loomis method, while many new books, tutorials, as well as influencers follow a more, simplified method.
After realizing this i had a "eureka!" moment and avoided following the new style tutorials so that the two aren't clashing in my head. Thankfully I've found a couple of artists that teach the Loomis method but in the Seinen form I've been trying to figure out.
Now it's so much better and an easier flow. Major thanks to those who follow that format.
