Hope You've Been Well~

(This has been quite an interesting week. If you want the quick version, skip to below.)

Dear Diary….

It was a nice sunny time. The weather was perfect, and I rose early morning to progress the next production.

Everything was going smoothly. Little did I know the chaos that was brewing outside my window.

As my windows rumbled and building shook, I blinked only to be staring at my reflection on the screen (or lack there of) in the dark.

I took a moment to panic wondering “how is my work? Is it safe?”

Many thoughts began to run as I went to check outside.

Upon my observation I saw nothing. But soon after received notification on my phone that power will be back on in 6 hours.

"…哎呀....."

With that said I went out, touched some grass, and waited.

After the time was up, I came back, everything was running normally. I checked, and my work was safe. I exhaled a sigh of relief.

I couldn’t help but step around the building to see if they replaced anything, I look down and saw something upside down in the ground.

…… that was it. That was the culprit that caused such mayhem.

I know the squirrel did not mean to chew on a wire, but out of anger I cursed its name into the void for causing time wasted.

Ahem. May it Rest In Peace.

A couple of days later I’m getting great progress. Lilu’s reveal is coming along, the next piece is nearing completion…. I am elated to see it going well.

"ypa!!"

I then hear a sudden crash outside. With instincts, I quickly saved, and hurried outside to find out.

This time it wasn’t a squirrel. This time it was two idio— I mean, two individuals and a truck who decided to plow right into the pole where all the lines connected. Even though the road is straight, it’s not raining, its daylight, and speed limit is only 35mph.

(Don’t worry they’re fine.)

So no, it did not do anything as power goes. But funny thing is when people are in accidents, things start to happen.

Fire dept with their alarms, police and their alarms. People rushing out talking, you get the gist.

I gaze at the chaos and wonder "…..Warum?…."

I shall call them names in private.

It was then I realized perhaps…. It’s time to set up a goal for a laptop after all.

I shall place up the goal in the upcoming week. More space is needed anyway….

Tl;dr (you actually skipped to here??? You heathen! Jk, you’re fine)

- Squirrel decided to chew through the wire and screw up power for about half a day.

- A person ran into one of the power line poles so that might be worked on next week  
 depending on what it’s connected to.

- Due to an agreement I must take care of something out of town for a few days and then
  will have the next part available by next week.

- My next purchase will be a laptop to take with me on the go. It’ll set my mind at ease
  knowing I can keep working regardless of an outage or location.

(Plus, with adding in more animation and edits I’m starting to run out of space again. I have backup drives which helps but getting a computer with more space will be awesome so there’s not a constant pause in productions. I shall put up a goal and push to reach it!)

Hmm…. Am I missing anything? Oh right,

- Memorized all kana so I’m glad. Aiming to do a full audio in Faine’s language.
  "きっと たのしいよ!"  
  Then will do that for all the girls as time progresses.
