I'm not so sure there's any particular inciting incident that suddenly makes a revolution happen, I think it's more like a lot of underlying political and underlyinh issues, and pointing at one event as a cause to me feels more like something historians sometimes do, rather than factual, I get a feeling we're not hearing about it because Rae doesn't want to think about it, and she's the narrator
