if youre familiar with the whole weight painting process but are confused by it then you might find the 5:45 and 12:00 minute marks to be the most interesting.

for those new to weights, this isnt really a tutorial but more of a "watch me struggle with the hardest area of blender" video.

im not gonna lie, this was a really hard video to make. Ive tried to do this before, and i always just get burnt out in the middle of talking about what im doing because i keep encountering errors that have me staring at the screen blankly for 30 minutes straight.

so this was me kinda sitting thru that for once, and i wanted to show yall the reality of how brutal this process can be even after doing it a hundred times.

anyway enjoy this lil stream, now that ive done this i think i can come up with a more concrete way to explain weight painting complex meshes in a shorter condensed video for those who might be still confused after watching this.
