World of Bloodlust - New Haven

Welcome to New Haven.

In a lot of ways, New Haven is like many densely populated centers. Similar to New York City, it’s home to many walks of life. During the day the streets bustle with activity and at night they are crawling with everything ranging from upstanding citizens to the dark underbelly of society. Drugs, crime, illegal, deliquency; like many modern metropolis, New Haven is home to everyone from the elite to the average and lowly. And they all have their vices. While the elite enjoy the finer things the city has to offer, the rest fight through the muck trying to make ends meet.

In New Haven, however, there is a different kind of elite.

Founded in the 1800’s, New Haven has proudly grown into one of the cultural hubs in North America. Unknown to most, however, is the large supernatural population that lurks in the corner of their eye. Almost every aspect of New Haven is, in some form, tied back to the elite vampires who run the city from behind the scenes. Split into two districts, New Haven is one of the rare occasions in vampire society where it is delegated by two Viscounts as opposed to a single Count, Duke, or Prince. In addition to that, it is also the home of the Council, the one that oversees the cities in the United States to be exact. A circle of vampire’s that dictate and enforce the rules for the society ever since their migration from across the ocean.

However, beneath the titles and hierarchy, there is another demographic in New Haven. Outcasts, rejects, and misfits. Those whose lives aren’t improved or worsened by the latest Council decree. The ones who have to worry about being taken out by the Church, hunters, or fanatics who just want to lock them up in the cellar. They make up a segment of the population that often goes neglected by those at the top. A minority, often sireless, who have no leverage in the political game. As long as they don’t make any noise or interrupt the status quo established by those above them, the ones in power are usually more than happy to turn a blind eye to their activities.

In recent years, the city has had an increasing supernatural presence. Depending on one’s position their attitude might range from indifferent to mildly concerned. After all, every new creature that decides to call New Haven home increases the risk of exposure. Not only to the larger public but to those that would see their society exterminated.

Meet Carmella (4k)

Progeny to our Main Character, Carmella is a handful to say the least. Seeking her own independence, she left sire’s care and set out on her own with the money and assets she had. In the time since she has created a network of contacts, assets, and business that operates in the layer beneath the shadows. The world where the eyes of the dukes and council aren’t quite as keen. After all, while those at the top have all their bells and whistles there’s still a population of undead that is just trying to get by. That is the group of people that Carmella serves. Some might say she originally started on this path purely out of spite for her sire and they wouldn’t be wholly wrong. But Carmella has grown into her own. Sarcastic with a bite to her, she’s an acquired taste for many. Though even then there are few who get into her inner circle. But once she trusts you, she’s a more than reliable ally.

Meet Elena

An upcoming character from The Society: Awakening (tentative title)

Elena Grayson is a relatively "young" vampire; at least in the grand scale of things. But don't let her age fool you into thinking she lacks in wisdom. Operating one of the underground spots in the city, Elena believes in looking out for those who have no one. While Aphrodite is home to the supernatural elite, Elena's club welcomes the abandoned and forgotten members of the supernatural society. There she offers them a place of refuge away from scrutiny. Quick-witted and charismatic, she is a loyal ally to those she calls friends and to some, potentially something more.

An Update.

I will keep things short and sweet. Monthly billing still paused monthly (though you will still be charged as a new patreon) simply because it feels scummy charging when I haven't posted anything new. If you aren't already make sure you're following me on twitter as I sometimes post content there as well.

As far as the visual novel I hoped to make, there is progress however due to computer restraints the rendering turns out to be the hardest part to work around. So I've set on working on the script, coding, and posing in the meantime. It's a lot of new learning but it's progress. 

Over the next month I hope to be releasing teasers introducing some of the characters with the first one dropping tomorrow. By November hopefully we should be back in business whether it's with the focus on the visual novel or my regular photoset postings. 

As a side note, I will be switching to subscription billing (once monthly payments resume) that way in the future people won't have to worry about getting charged twice in a month.

Payment halt and Page Announcement!

Quick announcement for August and for the Patreon as a whole. I'm going to be pausing payments for August, the reason why being listed in a moment. I just wanted to give a heads up and let everyone know.

Now, the reason for this pause is that I've made decent progress on what I want this patreon to eventually be for and fingers crossed will be doing a more formal development announcement. BUT in short the project I've been working on has been an adult visual novel! 

So to give myself more time to focus completely on that and get all my ducks in a row I'll be pausing payments for August. I'll still be posting promo content but hopefully come September our content will solely be able to focus on the development of the game. 

I hope with the work I've been doing people will enjoy what's coming. It's been rough at times but I'm definitely excited to finally be making progress towards the project I wanted to release.

Battle in the sands! There's actually a lot of fun sci-fi and star wars related assets in daz that could definitely be used again in the future. 

I'm also working on larger dimensions for the portfolio shots. Absolutely killing my laptop but I like the results? I might just have to do it more sporadically as it currently takes up a ton of render time.

Apologies for the lack of inactivity over the past week. I've been working hard on a passion project of mine and with only one shitty laptop for renders it's hard to juggle multiple things at once. That said, Happy Weekend!! I'll have another render out tomorrow for the holiday as well!

Okay so the lighting was kind of a shit show to get these out but I am overall happy with the outcome. I'm experimenting more with NSFW aspects of DAZ renders and while the early results are a little rough I hope they are still enjoyable.

And with this it is the second set for June! I will be likely putting out some promo stuff here and there between now and next month followed by the suggestion post for July once things get started.

Update June 2022

So I just wanted to give a quick update in the middle of photo posting just to give an idea of what is currently on the agenda. Currently I'm finishing up the first set for June which will go live soon. Other than that I'm going to really be focusing on getting promo renders out for social media; twitter, reddit, deviantart. Patrons will always get the un-watermarked as well as 1080p wallpaper dimension versions of these promo photos! 

Those are the main goals. With the page being officially open for almost a month now I really want to go ham on promotion so you can definitely expect a lot, at least 3 a week or as fast as my laptop can spit them out, promo renders.
