IK RIG TUTORIAL

maybe try applying the scale! ctrl + A on the rig and the mesh. sometimes that can cause issues like your describing. ill make a video on weight painting for situations like that. but usually if automatic weights doesnt work, the mesh or rig scale either isnt applied, or the mesh is too big compared to the one bone thats trying to locate where to distribute the weight.

2023-01-29 21:58:40 +0000 UTCi ran into a problem where the torso of my mesh wasn't responding to the armature after parenting, the only solution i found was to manually weight paint the whole mesh but it's still kinda screwy, did I overlook something or does this happen sometimes?
