Life Update | August 26th

Hey everyone, there's been quite a bit going on the past couple weeks so I figured it'd be best to post an update on what's been going on for everyone. My productivity hasn't been where I need it to be, but I want to emphasize that all of my Patreon content will still be on schedule! The weekly edit should still be up on Sunday and this month's sound library should be available Monday.

The past few weeks have been a culmination of some unwanted life news and general burnout. To keep it short I've been stuck staying with my family while my crushing student loans prevent me from being able to afford even the cheapest place (even with roommates involved). Well a couple weeks ago I received the news that we will be leaving Denver and moving elsewhere, and at most I'll have until January to figure out what I'm going to do. Been trying to see what sorta jobs are available but it's pretty barren, and I'm dreading the idea of starting over in a new city after finally making friends and getting involved in the community here.

This news hit me a lot harder than I was expecting, honestly. This will be the fourth time I've moved in four years, and not being able to settle down in any spot is frustrating at best, and crushing at worst. I've been scrambling to figure out any way I could stay in Denver, but the chances for that are slim to none. 

Adding the additional job hunting work to my day to day routine has wreaked additional havoc to my energy. To those who don't know, I work early morning truck unload shifts in addition to all my audio work. My typical day involves waking up at 1AM to get ready for work, and after work I spend the rest of my day doing audio work/job hunting. I'm completely wiped by the end of every day at this point. I'm still managing to get what I need to get done finished, but my output has slowed significantly. I'm debating taking next month off, but at this point I need every bit of income I can get so I'll be pressing forward with things. I'll probably keep commissions closed for the time being though.

So that's what's been going on. A lot of life changes, a lot of uncertainty, and very little free time. I'm doing my best to manage it all but things are tough. Thanks ahead of time for being patient with me if I continue being generally quiet.
