2022-01-25 19:42:06 +0000 UTCSitting on the Dock of the Bay is such a pleasant- sounding classic, but if you really pay attention to the lyrics, it's actually kinda sad. A hopeless depressed person just trying to find some beauty in life. I've heard some opinions that he (not Otis, but the character in the song) was contemplating suicide and trying to decide if there was anything worth living for - depressing I know, but it's quite a different song depending on how you interpret the lyrics and how you're feeling when listening. Anyway, thanks for coming to my Ted talk 😄 Thanks for the video!
