Hi Everyone!!
Introducing my new Snail & Slug design with Halloween Skull and Pumpkin accessories! I wanted to create something that would work well on it's own, as well as fitting a Halloween theme. So, I came up with a Snail that includes the option of swapping out the Shell for a Skull or Pumpkin!
With this design I also came up with some new joints. The head and shells snap-fit to the body via a new Connector piece. These provide a very durable connection and a bit more versatility in movement and printability. Here's a Demo Video that shows how the assembly works!
I hope you like it!
Matt
Pictured Prints use the following filaments***

Shell: Amolen Marble Rainbow, Amolen Fossil. Skull: Inland Bone White
2) Ziro Matcha, Ziro Camouflage, Charcoal Black, Cotton White
Pumpkin: Amolen Red Cedar, Ziro Camouflage
3) Polymaker Starlight Meteor, Paramount Iron Red, Charcoal Black, Cotton White,

3D PRINTING SETTINGS:
Snail Body: Has a socket in the back for adding Shell accessories.
Slug Body: Has no back socket
Head: Snap-fit to Snail/Slug Body using Connector. There is a small custom brim around the head to help with adhesion. Remove and discard it after printing
Snail accessories: Shell, Skull, Pumpkin. Snap-fit to Snail using Connector
EyesTentacles: Snap-Fit to Head. Clip opening should be oriented facing head.
Connector: Use to connect the head and shell accessories to the body.
Multicolor 3MFs: (Compatible with PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Orca based slicers)
No supports
10%-15% Infill (I recommend Gyroid, Crosshatch or 3D Honeycomb)
3 Walls. (Assuming 0.4mm nozzle. Adjust wall count to account for alternate nozzle sizes)
When printing with gradient filaments you might consider printing the head after the body. If done that way, the gradient will continue smoothly from the body into the head.
This should generally scale down to about 65% with full articulation, on a well calibrated printer. Your mileage may vary.
Check out a quick assembly Demo Video!
