Our First Character Podcast!
Added 2023-12-15 12:43:11 +0000 UTCA few months back (maybe longer) I queried yee about a longer form VS radio show, and received MANY great insights about what potential direction to take, and awesome references to draw on ("The Archers" on BBC being my favorite)
Well, here's the first step on that journey of a thousand miles.
This attempt owes much of it's DNA to the British podcast Alan Partridges "From the Oasthouse" and IDEALLY once we do enough of these, we will evolve into a more distinctive, separate animal...
This is meant to be a light-hearted silly program you throw on while you focus on more important things.
I'll mention, I do ALSO have eyes for a more serious "Value Select Wednesday' program where I converse with creators I respect, and generally speak on more philosophical things (maybe monthly?)
Would love to do an ensemble show, like a Shanghai Ballers audio series, but the funds aren't there yet to make it worthwhile for other actors.
As you are with impeccable taste, evident by your support here, I'd ask (after you've enjoyed the program) what parts did you enjoy the most? What would you want to see more of? Any snags?
Would love to know, I'd imagine I'd have to intelligently work through 100+ of these before they can be considered "good", and your feedback makes that process quicker!
