This month's new assets have been added to Scrapers, TechShip, The Wastes B, and Military. Download those packs from the start here post to grab everything.
July's content focus poll winner was "artist's choice," where I just kind of finish up lingering projects and do some housekeeping.
The bar/establishment tables from Scrapers were starting to look dated, and we were missing knocked over versions, so I re-did that set. The originals have not been removed, so your old maps will still work!
I've made a VTOL thruster for space ships and terrestrial craft. You'll get two sizes with many different orientations. These are re-colorable!
Small to medium space ships won second place in the poll, so I've added more canopies for fighter-sized ships. Each one comes with 3 different style reflections, so pick whatever works best for you.
Post Apocalyptic settings now get city signs (I've added major US cities. If you have a city you really need, let me know). Rusted versions included. You'll also see there are traffic lights too.
Cyberpunk and Post Apocalyptic streets really needed some good dirty mattresses. Done!
You can now plop down military style tents. They come in three colors with two re-colorable overlays. You can use the faded out tent to extend them.
I pushed forward on some less exciting behind-the-scenes stuff. I would like to re-pack all assets into a smaller number of more broadly defined packs. Instead of having themed, sometimes vague packs like Scrapers, you would have:
Universal A, B, C and so on
For things that fit all settings. You might also think of this as the 'modern' set. Toilets, stoves, couches, regular furniture. No matter what setting you work in, you'd want these packs enabled. The most universal stuff from Airship would go here as well.
Scifi A, B, C
High tech stuff that wouldn't make sense in a modern setting, like space ship parts. Cyberpunk, Military, Hull Kit, and the 'peer species' things from Xeno would be subsumed into this pack.
Natural/Organic A, B, C
This is the tough one, and I'm still developing the re-pack project, but as of now, the slimy creepy alien stuff in Xeno, and any plants, terrain, rocks and grass, terrestrial or otherwise, would go here.
What do you think? Would this simplified approach make it easier for you to work, or do you prefer the granularity of the current pack layout? Do you have better ideas about what to name the re-done packs?
