I'm just going to delete as it appears I can. This will be a tough one to solve I'm sure. Is this happening during the startup or hovering over the timeline? Nvm, I see it in your first post. What was the last version that worked for you?

2024-07-15 16:24:11 +0000 UTCUse the command line and pass in the debug argument to start the app and copy the terminal output to a text file and send it to me along with the OS you are using. If its mac, I cant really test on mac os very well but I can attempt to reproduce it on another OS. If its crashing during the thumb generation its most likely the video format its self.

2024-07-15 11:32:01 +0000 UTCI've managed to crash it during the thumbnail creation during the initial scan of the library. I thought it might be due to a few files that had a space at the end of the file name, but that's not it. What can I do to get you debug information?
