+1. THPS was my intro to skateboarding. It flourished into a lifelong hobby that I adore. Video games are powerful!

On the note of “music that sounds like it was on the Genesis but actually wasn’t”, comedian Gabe Gundacker did a pretty cool album of songs that could be intro music for sports that were never in Wii Sports. It’s a pretty good time!

Zack Daigle

Lmao came here to comment about this cuz I freaked when I heard Brandon say Zach was in the advantage. Glad we got this cleared up 😂 love hella AND the advantage. Those bands rule.

Zack Daigle

For Question 1 the THPS series caused a generational skateboarding boom

“CBS… sometimes you got to go in there.” Rotten fruit, rotten deeds. Excellent show guys.

Great work this week, everyone. Enjoyed the dirt bag focus The sega announcer question was great haha That's the kind of thing I would like for April Fools, rather than everyone making fake game announcements. Sega already did that cool Sonic murder mystery thing. Get some announcer audio packs added to things! Regarding question 4, I kept the starting Persona for your protagonist the entire game and never fused it or released it. Just felt wrong to get rid of it, since all of your party members keep theirs. Made it tricky at times but was glad to do it ultimately.

Dustin Reno

Good question me. (I know a lot of people who got into sports or mahjong from anime but not from games.) I randomly met a guy with the Tim recommended jacket once. He wrote the leaderboards for CoD Warzone or something like that.

MVB

Surprise attack! Forgot I asked that question ages ago! Can't go wrong with a Princess Bride category.

Malcove

(brandon) yeah this was a mistake on my part. I've been confusing it since 2004 because "the drummer in the advantage is one of the members of Hella" is true - but it's the guitarist of hella playing the drums in the advantage, not the drummer of hella! you can see how this is pretty easy to confuse

Eldersouls. Give me a Fantasy open world with high octane roll and parry based reaction time combat AND dialogue related roleplay within the geopolitical movements of governing factions. What are FromSoft esoteric item descriptions if not the thinking man’s Vault Terminal.

gatlinmachine

I could be very wrong since I'm getting my info from Wikipedia, but it doesn't look like Zach Hill was ever in The Advantage. It was actually Spencer from Hella (the guitarist). Just an FYI!

Rudolph Ogawa

I certainly got my computer chair from Tims recommendation on this show years ago and just this year got my friend to get the same chair!
