2022-11-15 13:56:47 +0000 UTCShortly after Avatar released, I was still living in Texas and I remember the person giving me a haircut saying they loved the film. They told me they had seen it multiple times already because Pandora was what they imagined heaven to be like. That sure was a thing! Andrés and Fūnk-é were excellent guests! Andrés realizing Alex's secret answer for the Avatar question was my favorite moment this episode haha The discussion around flying really nailed a lot of the joys for me in games when it comes to air travel. I also remember liking the flying in "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" despite not doing a whole lot with it because it felt happy to be doing it. OH WOW that made me think of the end of "Journey" which really doesn't do much of the weight or anything, but the building music and visuals really worked there for me to give that Peter Pan sense of flying via emotion.
