I’m a bookseller and boy do all the concerns about the issues around class and race in the video game industry feel connected to the problems in the book publishing world, particularly everything that Ash said about DEI. It’s a sobering reminder that even though different industries may have certain peculiarities with regard to the medium, ultimately we’re dealing with deep-rooted societal issues that’s going to require a complete rethinking about how we come together and share spaces. Anyway, what was the name of that vapor wave act Brandon said he recommended a few episodes ago? With the 80s Mexican ballad samples?
