The Seven Year Retrospective #7 - Suiting Another Man's Life

This week, as the title suggests, is "Suiting Another Man's Life" which comes in at #7! This was a Patreon exclusive story released back in March 2019 (doesn't that feel like a decade ago now?!) and is a bodyswap story between a teacher and a bodybuilder that features a side of gay-to-straight/straight-to-gay to boot, aka my favourite cocktail of TF tropes for any story!
Like a number of other stories featured on this list and across my work, this was actually inspired by an idea I had in the gym when I found myself watching one of the other regulars. This was back when I was a little lighter in terms of mass and I couldn't help but be delighted by the sight of this guy who was several inches shorter than me but most certainly heavier thanks to his incredible muscles. Even now I see him around and relish in the eye candy! Anyway, having had a stressful and depressing day at work (as many of you know thanks to my ranting on the Disrcord, I'm a teacher) I started to fantasize about swapping with the other and seeing life from his perspective instead.
Rather than writing the story from my own point of view though, I chose to spin it around and instead focus on the bodybuilder's perspective and consider what reasons he might have for wanting to try on a different life for a little bit. It might sound horrifically pretentious but I've always loved the worldbuilding and backstory elements of writing which is why I took my time with the start of the story, building up to the moment of the swap and the mental and sexuality changes that follow it as a result. I've probably said this countless times before but I personally find that having a better understanding of a character's situations and motivations makes their post-transformation experiences even more exciting as both a writer and reader.
The face featured in this story is the one and only Jeff Nippard, who is a constant source of delight for me! I've always had a thing for shorter guys who have packed on muscles and in that respect he's very much my perfect guy in terms of aesthetics - in fact he spent quite the period as the 'face' of Mr Cavanaugh last year. He also happened to be a pretty perfect match for the guy who inspired the original idea, although if Jeff worked out in my gym I don't think I'd ever be able to focus on my workouts so it's probably for the best that he doesn't! Still, the thought of having that wonderfully muscular body and being a cocky straight alpha... turned on doesn't even cover it!
Thanks for reading my self-indulgent explanations and I'll see you next time for #6!
