This is wild! Thank you for mentioning the song, I actually like it a lot :)

"Killing In the Name" was such a hit that portions of the song were copied by popular South Korean Kpop (boy band) group H.O.T. in their song "Line Up". Back in the 90's, plagiarism was rampant, since Kpop was not yet big in the U.S. People only found out because H.O.T. attended the MTV Music Awards and "Line Up" won the International Viewer’s Choice award. Listening to the two songs side-by-side ("Killing" released in 1992, "Line Up" 1998), the similarities cannot be denied.

Easy 5, end of discussion. I also discovered RATM after watching the Matrix at like 11 years old or something.

I kinda felt tired of it by the end also. I think because every song kinda sounds the same. It’s kinda like if all the songs hit super hard then none of them do. 2.5/5 for me

Way to go, Lennon! Rage Against the Machine gets me absolutely HYPED I had to ease up on listening to them a few months ago because I was so tightly wound and ready to fight something!!! My favorite song on this album is Fistful of Steel but my all-time fave Rage song is Sleep Now in the Fire. Followed by the cover of Renegades of Funk. And a cool Tom Morello feature is the remix of My Nutmeg Phantasy on the first Raimi Spider-man soundtrack. It’s so good!! The Happy Birthday Emma story is so silly and sweet. Another story I love about Killing in the Name is when this Vancouver radio station played it on loop for 30 hours as protest for changing formats and getting fired in like, 2022.

Love Bo Diddley!

One of my favorites of all time, easy 5/5. The outro to Township Rebellion is the best part of that song. Everything about this album works together seamlessly, Zachs flows and lyrics, Toms guitar work and Tims bass is a great highlight. I was supposed to see Rage live in Vancouver on their last tour, but early on Zach messed up his Achilles' tendon and played through it for a few shows but eventually he was forced to stop and they cancelled the rest of the show. I probably won't ever get to see them live, but shortly after you guys announced the Vancouver show and that got me over the moon. Take The Power Back, Know Your Enemy and Wake Up are my top 3 I think off the album. Zachs flow is really impeccable on this album, espcially with the message hes sending out on top of it, to make it concise on top of that is crazy.
