Weekly Roundup 242 - Renamon Art Progress - Reason for Delayed Roundup

Hi everyone!

My apologies for not posting for a while. I have been busy with working on this new animation pack but I'll get into why I haven't posted in the past two weeks.

But let's start with showing off some progress!

1: What's New?

Over the past two weeks, but mostly last week I've been working on further rendering of all the art assets needed for the art pack.

2: What's Next?

The grunt work needed to fully render and order all the art assets needed in photoshop isn't complete yet. We're still 1-2 weeks away from having these art assets fully completed.

Reason for Delayed Roundup Posting:

The delay on the roundup posting and some lost productivity has come down to me needing to spend time and effort with my younger brother (we're both in our 30s) making arrangements for my elderly father to get him a long-term rental home and arrange all those logistics. (He's in his 70s and had memory issues.)

Long story short my father never purchased a house and was living with my sister (40s) and her family in a rental nearby. She had to find a new place but couldn't find somewhere that could accommodate him. So me and my brother had to quickly drop everything to find him a rental.

In Australia if you're at retirement age and don't own your home it's utterly brutal. To the point that both me and my brother will be taking an ongoing financial hit to help pay for our dads new rental home.

As of today we found one. So we have two weeks left of shoring up the new rental, making it safe for him and his pet dog. Arranging utilities and finally moving him from my sisters old house to this new house.

So I'm through the worst of it. But obviously it was very stressful to try and find time and headspace to work knowing if you failed in finding a place for your dad it would result in him being in a real poor situation.

Productivity will still be a bit crimped for the next 2 weeks or so while we get him moved and settled in. But I think I'll be back to full production by late September!
