Devlog #20 Exploration and excessive dialog

Ok, this is a quick update on game progress and an explanation of the new exploration system that will be implemented in version 0.2.9.

First off, exploration: This is a means to explore and fight outside of the guild quest system ("I don't want Lani to meet Miri, better not take her to the guild" or "I want to go directly to the orcs without having to get a quest first"). Exploration allows the player to search for items and events in locations, discover new locations (once discovered, always known), and look very impressive to someone who has never seen anyone discover every hidden item in a forest by clicking a single button (once you uncover every secret in an area, future lives will know where everything is).

Since exploration will cost you food, this update also includes a cooking system and an upgrade option for the tent (buy tent, buy cooking set, collect necessary items via exploration, pay to combine those items into a new and improved tent). There will likely only be one event exclusive to the exploration content at launch because I am already working on so very many events, but more are certainly planned.

And then we get to the other events. This coming release will be jam-packed with new content involving Lani and Marla together. Sneaking, lore, 'whatever happened to that', sexy times; I got the entire spectrum covered with this one. This includes but is not limited to: discussions about what the player did that day, discussions about clothes, discussions about Lani's status as a sexual predator, talk about chickens, 'oh you look cute in that outfit',   and other things. There is also a continuation of previous storylines for Lani and Marla both, and a quite long chain of escalating interactions that culminates in some sexy times.

Right now, I'm having a hard time judging exactly when this will all be finished. I have a few more scenes with Lani and Marla together, one more with Liam, Lani, and Marla, a few scenes with and without Lani for the cooking content, and the above-mentioned one exploration scene. So there's still a good amount that is not finished, but the coding for exploration is done, and I've been managing between 2 and 3 scenes a week, so I'm hoping that this will be ready for you in another 10 to 15 days.
