Rewind has been in various forms of development for just over six months. When I write that, it feels like a hell of a long time, but most of that has been self-improvement time for me; getting familiar with programs I'm not used to, improving modeling, texturing and animation, and relearning Python all played a major role in early development headaches.
Renders and animations are made primarily in Maya (as opposed to Daz3d, which many reading this may be accustomed to), which is a wonderful tool, but so feature-rich that learning is a daunting thing. I've remade portions of the prologue and initial chapter of the game as many as five times, and every single scene has had at least two variations. But now! Now I am finally ready to say, "This is it!"
.... but I do still need to remake some of the sprites and add animations to those, and then implement clothing changes, and the main story hasn't even started yet...
I hope you can see the potential in this project!
