Super Smash Musical! - In (Very Early Demo)

Here's something that's still very early in development, that I finally have a proper teaser number for, my next original show after UNDERSONG, Super Smash Musical! Unlike US' retelling of UNDERTALE's plot with a twist, This one tells a fully original story about the Smash Bros. Universe focused around the reject characters that desperately try to make it into the roster.  Also unlike US, production will be handled more similarly to the easier-to-edit deltarune THE MUSICAL releases. 

Without giving away too much about the plot to come, here's the show's possible opening number, featuring Shantae, Waluigi, Geno, Goku and Sans!
The actual show may not come into production and full announcement for a good while, but as Patrons, you get to see it unbelievably early!
(The track here is extremely rough as I am still recovering from a cold, please keep that in mind when listening! These are the tracks I do primarily to remember how I wrote a song, not show off the product.)

Shantae: I can't take this waiting.


I can't take this baiting and misleading.


Geno: Can't be much longer, time is fleeting


Shantae/Waluigi: I've been here forever!


Waluigi: Waluigi waits for years and weeks and days!


Shantae: But they never let me in, now do they?


Geno: I can sympathize, too, Shantae.


Shantae/Waluigi: WE CAN'T TAKE THIS WAITING!


Sans: I can.


Geno: Hi, Sans.


Shante: Geno?


Geno: Yes, Ma'am?


Shantae: GET MAD!


All of us have been had, no one's coming!


Goku: I did!


Shantae: Shut Up, Goku.


All but SANS and GOKU: WE'VE BEEN HERE FOREVER!


Sans: Not me.


Goku: Not me.


Geno: I live here now.


Shantae: What?


Waluigi: Maybe we can sneak in through the plumbing!


Shantae: Tried that.


Geno: Got burned.


Goku: Broke the pipe!


*sigh*




Shantae:
I can't take this waiting for a second longer
Bet they'll just include the left paddle from pong or

Something really stupid like that
I know your tricks, Sakurai
You'll never put me in smash!
You'll never give me a try
You'll never give me a chance to show what I can do!


Sans: He gave me one.


Shantae: Oh, quiet, you. Or I'll turn into an elephant and stomp you to death.
*sigh* Why can't I just be included?


Waluigi: Waa, but sometimes inclusion is in of itself a curse. Take Waluigi, for example.


Waluigi:
Waluigi weeps, he can never come in
As a playing fighter, he is a summon!
Fifteen seconds of pride!
Doling out misery!
Then I'm whisked back inside
Of an assist trophy!


WILL I EVER LIVE TO ROAM UNFREE AND UNCHECKED?


Sans: What about on the Tennis Court?


Waluigi: Shut up, no-neck.


Geno: Do not feel bad, friend. I, too, am neckless.


Goku: A Necklace? Nonsense! Necklaces can't talk!


Geno: Oh, my apologies. I'll just be quiet then.


Shantae: GENO! STAND UP FOR YOURSELF! SING A VERSE AND PROVE YOUR WORTH TOO!


Geno: Oh, sure, if that's what you want, Miss Shantae.


Shantae: *exhausted exhale*


Geno:
I come from the distant land of square
Look in the forest, you'll find me in there!
Mario RPG
Super NES one-time gig
Everyone asks for me
But I don't feel that big


It's completely allright if I don't make the cut!


Shantae: I said "prove your worth!" That was anything but!


*sigh* That's the problem with you, Geno. You'll never make it in if you don't think you really deserve it!


Goku: Well, I think I REALLY really really really deserve to get in, so I'm gonna really really really really make it!


Sans: Is that so?


Goku:
I sure would love to fight in smash! Everyone's so strong here!
Every day an epic clash!
ALL: YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!


Goku:
I've had hundreds of games!
Lots of shows on TV!
Everyone knows my name!
That should qualify me!


Mr. Smash man, why don't you ever let me play?


Sans: You're from an Anime.


Goku: And you're from a Fox!


Sans: MY developer's NAME is fox. I'm from a video game just like everyone else here, except you.


Shantae: Y'know, you already got in as playable...sorta...what are you even doing here?


Sans: That's just it. I want out!


Waluigi: Waaa???


Sans:
I finished up my indie game, I thought I was a free man
After I won infinite fights against a demon!
There was peace every day
In our new homes above
Then they snatched me away
from the folks that I love
Slapped me onto a body and forced me to fight...


That hardly seems right.


Shantae: Great story, but everyone knows you still get to spend as much time in your own game as you want when you're in.


Sans: Yeah, allright. I just don't wanna do the work.


Shantae: Of course...


Waluigi: Hey, look! Only one minute til the results come in! It's GOT to be one of us this time! By which I mean me!


Shantae: Maybe you're right! About the first part, anyway. I mean, who else is even trying at this point?


*Swordrick bursts in*
I AM! Thus says Swordrick of Counternia!


*all: SIGH*


Swordrick:
I have a sword and counter-block!
And I'm voiced by Sean Chiplock!


I'm a chosen blue-haired
Main protagonist sort!
Likable and prepared!
Thoughtful and a good sport!


And I'm in the next Fire Emblem yet to come!


Shantae: So he's the pick, then, right?


ALL OTHERS: YEAH.


Swordrick: Don't be so glum! I'm certain any one of you could be the next fighter!


MASTER HAND: AND THE WINNER IS...SWORDRICK!


Swordrick: Oh, my goodness! I can barely believe it! I guess it's like what I always say: "The winner shows strength strongly!"


ALL BUT SWORDRICK:
And so wraps up another nine hour sit
You'd think by now that we'd all be used to it
Maybe one day the world will answer one of our prayers


Shantae: To show my worth!
Waluigi: To stay ingame!
Geno: To be unearthed!
Goku: To remember my name!


And the best part of my life will finally begin!
When all of my dreams come true and I'm finally in!
