So, finally got around to watching this! Let's start with the performances/songs, even though I don't really have much to comment: Brat Attitude did grow on me a lot, really like the song. Jiahao did so well as the Killing Part and everyone else did great too. Really enjoyed the overall performance. Hope we get an OT8 ver. at one point. Still not the biggest fan of Never Been 2 Heaven, probably my least favorite original song from this season. I did enjoy the performance and everyone did really well, tho. The styling was definitely a choice. I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. Wished that they maybe only did the pink outfits and not the brown ones. This, funny enough, was probably my favorite performance from Junmin. I have grown to like him a lot in the last eps. Hope we can get a WHIB comeback soon ig. It's so interesting how the debut group is actually split 4 and 4 in those songs. Way better distribution than in S1, lul. So glad that Haoxin actually were the Killing Parts, that's pretty iconic tbh. I do also think that the final songs had such a different vibe than in S1, but I also can't really pinpoint it exactly. But it would also be very hard for a final song to top Jelly Pop for me, I LOVE that song. I mostly never really care about the ballads they sing, but I absolutely love How to Fly. It reminds me a bit of BTS's earlier songs. I did also wish that they would have had a mix of both versions from the signal song. Cause I actually prefer the C version a bit more. They actually did that in Produce 48 with the Korean and the Japanese versions, that was so cool. I also thought that this top 8 would be way less predictable than it was. Like, I thought that we would get, like, at least 1 or 2 surprises in the lineup. I actually thought that Yumeki might make it too. I did also know that he would probably rank pretty low in Korea, but I thought that he might have a chance to not get last place in Korea. I assume that he suddenly jumped so high in the last eliminations because he was not a filler at all. Like most people that voted for him also had him as a 1-pick. Also, maybe Japan dropped Masato and picked up Yumeki instead? Not really sure, I was also really confused. But yeah, him ranking last in 1-picks in Korean killed his chances. Yeah, Mnet somehow came up with an even worse name than Zerobaseone. It actually makes me suspicious that they made it worse on purpose so that people talk about it more. I had to laugh every time they said the name in the finale. But yeah, I will get used to it. I actually never call them Ald1, I just call them Aldi, lul. Like, what do you mean I stan a group that has the same name as a grocery store? I do really like the logo, but yeah, it does kinda look like a U and not an L. Which is also funny considering that Audi is a car brand, funnily fitting, I guess. I am very, very satisfied with this lineup. I already love this group very much. It's fascinating to look up the global vs. Korean rankings, tho. I would not have been nearly as satisfied with either the Korean or the global top 8 as I am with this lineup. I still can't believe that Jiahao actually made it. I was so unsure about his chances, I am so happy. Well, you can also already guess that I am very happy that Leo, Sangwon and Anxin made it, but that also was very predictable. I was a bit worried about Leo, but I think that was mostly because his fans were doomposting a lot, lul. I would have voted for Leo if I did not worry even more for Jiahao. Which is now funny in hindsight because Jiahao was higher in the rankings. Also, what's up with the one that I voted for placing 5th? Funny that it happened again. Like I already said in my last comment, I actually really like Sanghyeon, so I am very happy about him making it. He is such a cutie, love him as the maknae. Only added Xinlong to my top 8 before the final, but I do really like him. His speech was so heartbreaking, he is so cute. The maknae line being Xinlong, Anxin and Sanghyeon already screams chaotic. I have grown to really like Geonwoo in the last few eps, so I am actually happy that he is in this group. Especially him together with Xinlong is pretty cute. Well, you guessed right. When you were praying for the last member to be Junseo, I was praying for it to be Kangmin, haha. But I am also totally fine with Junseo, he seems like a really sweet person. Can't wait to see more of his personality since Mnet decided to not really show him anymore after “Bad”. I assume that he is the leader? We still don't have any announcement about that, I hope we get it soon. The only others I could maybe see getting it would be Leo or Geonwoo, but even that would surprise me a bit. We will see, I guess. I still can't get over the fact that he is the maknae in WEi, tho. Also this now being his 3rd group is pretty iconic. But honestly, why couldn't they have just debuted the top 9? No, actually, why not the top 10? I probably should not think about it anymore, it will just make me sad. The "What ifs“ in this show are crazy tho. Like, what if the merge never happened? What if the screen time distribution was fair? What if the voting system was fair? What if some choose to do other songs or were in other songs in the Debut Concept Battle? What if the centers were different? What if some people never participated (for example Sangwon)? Etc... Also, it's crazy how 5 members from Whiplash actually debuted together. Also 5 members from Chains and the only ones that are switched with that are Junseo and Jiahao. Also, from the other 3 songs only 1 person from each made it. I really liked this season a lot, but that's mostly because of the contestants. I really liked so many people in this show. Also seeing all the friendships now is so cute. Can't wait for lots of these people to debut. I really hope that we will actually get another group containing only B2P trainees and not just the C spin-off. I am very interested to see who will participate in that tho. Just in general very interested how they will structure it since it will only be 4 eps. Also, I don't think you owe us anything. No need to check out their variety stuff if you don't want to, but I would of course watch it if you did. Not sure if you would want to react to it, but Zihao, Suren, Haneum, Liyu and Donggyu were on K-Star Next Door together recently. We will actually get a Part 2 for that next week too. Maybe you already know of that tho or saw some clips already. It actually was pretty fun to watch. Content like that is something that I wish that we would have gotten in the actual show, but no, Mnet needed to focus on the drama instead. Thank you so much for reacting to this show! 2025-10-11 11:38:55 +0000 UTCTBH ill prob check out the vairey and stuff cause if i like the personalitys and stuff and tbh geonwoo i liked him maybe cause he was pushed also there was so much also with 0t4 stuuf yk, but tbh thats with ss groups it usally fizzles out, like i like geonwoos voice but he didnt get parts that showcased that very muvh he did play it safe i would say, but if i enojoy there contet and music i hope i can stan cause tbh i thought the same way when p07 was annouced i was like really... but i think abt how ppl didnt want gyuvin yujin ricky jiwoong cause they did not showcase enough it was the same siutation as him like they kinda placed wihtout much to back it up cause if that were the case it would have been jay and couple others but as zb1 is now my ult group clealry grown the love them and prob will love ald1 as they show more cause ofc junseo in there i love xinlong he would be my bias and anxin personalilty finally showing a little thriugh lives zhang zia hao ofc ima support cause im so glad he got into group, as we slightly mourn what couldve been those groups memebrs we know usally top18 egt scouted fairly quickly into a group so hopefully that happens but overally not mad or overally happy ima like ok ok lets see how this group plays out and i wish them the best

2025-10-09 22:22:49 +0000 UTCOkay random rant first, Firstly, I feel so bad about Liyu & Masato after the show, since I mentioned about not getting their hype & now I definitely do, honestly I blame mnet. About the name, Its actually so terrible but I kinda love that, honestly none of the groups I stan have the best names so as long as they have good music, I’m gonna stan. Anyway onto the preformances!! 1. Brat Attitude Yeah this one was 100% my fav out of the two AND CHEN KAIWEN MAIN VOCAL + ZHANG JIAHAO KP! We truly entered Chinese heaven with that one. Tbh I have nothing bad to say but them 2 were top2 for that performance & the bridge with Liyu, Donggyu & Kaiwen was actually beautiful. 2. Never Been 2 Heaven They really pushed this group & gave them way more screen-time which I didn’t really like but oh well I guess, another thing that annoyed me was they kept DRAGGING the cute concept “struggle” even though Sangwon is able to pull off a cute concept really well when needed. However, I did enjoy this performance I lot more than I thought I would, Anxin’s facials improved sm but I do think you can still tell he’s nervous. 3. How To Fly I’m gonna be honest, I cry every time I see the performance of this song, seeing all of them sad & worried while Kaiwen was still smiling so widely really did something to me, especially now I know he doesn’t make it, other than that, I really love the song, it probably is my favourite as I do love ballads but idk if i’ll be able to play it that often lol I do wish they preformed in front of friends/family for the evaluations like last time, instead of the other trainees tho, it would’ve felt a lot more special I think. Okay so I’m gonna talk about the actual lineup first. 1. Lee Sangwon - One of my biases! Deserved imo, I was never fully into trainee A but I did follow them & watched their videos so seeing him debut is so good. 2. Zhou Anxin - Again another win for me but I knew mnet wouldn’t let another Zhang Hao moment happen. 3. He Xinlong - I knew this man would pull through since the start, honestly so happy we have a 3-member c-line (should’ve been 4 but its okay) 4. Kim Geonwoo - Not much to say, not mad, not overjoyed, hope he changes my mind tho. 5. Zhang Jiahao - YESS! I needed him to debut, after watching ma1, I saw he was done so dirty & I couldn’t be happier that he made it & he’s my other biass! 6. Lee Leo - Honestly not surprised he dropped so low, his 1-pick for korea wasn’t that strong, but i am glad he debuted as he is really good ace potential. 7. Chung Sanghyeon - Talented, not my personal pick but I never disliked him, his personality can also be funny 8. Kim Junseo - Wasn’t a pick for me, but he seems like such a good leader & very talented. Altogether, I think the lineup is quite good, I really hope the concept is good aswell but I think I’ll probably stan them. My personal lineup before the final was: 1. Chen Kaiwen 2. Lee Sangwon 3. Zhang Jiahao 4. Zhou Anxin 5. Lee Leo 6. Park Donggyu 7. Yoo Kangmin 8. He Xinlong I am actually so distraught about Kaiwen, (even though I knew realistically he wasn’t gonna make it) but his options are so uncertain & they also separated the ceg boys, I hope he doesn’t join the spin-off because the cpop industry is not the best & will just be harder to get content, but I think its the most likely option, I REALLY hope he’s not going solo tho because chromosome promotion is not the best & I’d just like him a group. My favourite outcome for most of my eliminated picks would be the f1are/2vnne rumour that is all over the place atm, but I am gonna support them wherever they go. I will however be watching the spin-off in December so I wonder whats gonna happen there..
