2025-09-14 23:29:37 +0000 UTCI feel guilty but i loved this episode, as I’ve watched the show as it goes on I’ve definitely got more invested. I think voting for the 24th place was the hardest thing EVER & I’m sad some (Arctic 😔) of my picks got eliminated but I did expect it. My top 8 is the same as before but Chen Kaiwen might become my 1 pick soon if he doesn’t stop being so whimsical, he definitely reminds me of Gyuvin, who was my 1 pick in bp1 For what blossom was saying in the comments, I definitely agree with all of yours & her takes on DKB and the C-planet spin off. I have also became a bit of a basic leowonxinhao (+obviously Kaiwen) fan 😭 I do think Sangwon might not actually get p01 with one-pick votes due to in most polls he’s never 1st, also the hate-train he’s got in korea wont help, I think more people in the top8 have a stronger one-pick fanbase I’m kinda scared for your reaction to the next episode, it was nottt the best

2025-09-14 15:37:17 +0000 UTCThis sounds weird to say about an elimination episode, but I really liked this episode. Not the eliminations themselves, of course. Lots of people that I would have loved to see more of got eliminated. 24 is also just such a brutal cut. It did not really matter who survived, it was bound to have eliminated people that I wanted to see more of either way. But I'm again also not really surprised about who was eliminated, already prepared myself for it. I do really like this top 24, tho. I will definitely eagerly wait for Sen's debut and many others too. It is kind of cruel that Harry June only now got screen time in the episode that he got eliminated in. But I at least hope that it made even more people want to support DBK. I really hope that they get a comeback soon and that being on this show really helped them get more popular. It's great to see Harry get so much love, but that sadly sometimes doesn't translate to people actually supporting his group. But it probably helped them at least a little bit. I finally now also did a DKB deep dive! Mostly not the biggest fan of their earlier songs, but other than that, I do have some songs I really like. Also lots of songs that I already knew but just forgot or forgot that it was from them. I have, of course, also heard about the C Planet spin-off, but I don't think that it's a way for Mnet to not make people vote for C Planet anymore. I think one of the biggest reasons (together with the fact that the Hallyu ban wasn't lifted) for the merge was that a company that was supposed to manage the C group (I don't think that it's confirmed, but people believe that it's Yuehua) backed out last minute. Ig they have now found a new company that would do it. I don't think that it's confirmed, but rumors are saying that the company is Chromosome. The only thing that was actually confirmed by Mnet is that they are discussing it rn. Meaning it might not even happen and we (and Mnet) don't even know how it will look like at all. Not one of the possibilities actually being AlphaOne, I hope that I didn't jinx it, lul. But at the end of the day, I don't really care what name they are going to give them. Like, Zerobaseone was also kind of an awful choice but I got used to it. I actually don't have a top 8 at the moment, lul. Jiahao has now joined the people that I am invested in, though. So, my top 4 are Sangwon, Leo, Anxin and Jiahao now. That is probably so basic but who cares haha. Loved to join the Leowonxinhao agenda. Will decide on my other top 8 after the last eliminations, rn I have too many options. For everyone else it's also more of a "would be really cool if they did debut but I don't need them to" for me. I think for some it's because I'm just not THAT invested in them or also cause I don't think they have much of a chance. I voted for Kaiwen, Donggyu and Hengyu in the 3-pick voting. The chances of me ulting the final group (or even the top 8 rn) actually got higher. I, for some reason, got even more invested in the show, in like the last 2 weeks or so, than I already was. Like, this season is a mess, but I still kind of love it. But the finale is now less than 2 weeks away and I now am just waiting for it to finally be over so I can stop being anxious haha. I am very interested in what you have to say about the next episode!
