*&AUDITION EP 7* FIRST REACTION

First person to guess my new bias line in the comments gets a little kiss on the forehead :3

i basically agree with what everyone's saying but just to add: the whole finale episode felt like a nothingburger episode, they just kept panning to enhypen, or rm, for no reason? and the host kept saying "look at enhypen they are also watching nervously" something like that and it felt so awkward lol i only watched like the performances and the actual announcement because everything else was just taking so long hahahaha

I had pretty much the same opinions on the performances. Although on the first watch I preferred the film out perf (I'm now realizing it was a biased decision because I love the song and Yuma lmao). But rewatching it now with you I can see they could have done a bit better with line distribution, and I felt like they didn't blend together well.. kinda like they sang in separate rooms and the video was clipped together. I liked Nicholas's part he did amazing in my opinion. Now for the lights perf they were all so good hello?! Especially K unnie (same opinion I had the first time I watched this). For the dance portion just like the first time I didn't really like the Run dance, this doesn't have anything to do with the dance but I didn't like the skinny jeans either it made their legs look like toothpicks it was so funny lol. Black Swan was pretty good and again we had a lot of similar opinions on it like the middle part felt like watching a random circus act (I mean this quite literally not in an insulting way) where they do different tricks but the rest was pretty good. Honestly I think the choreographer could have done a better job 🤷🏾‍♀️.

I think it was really smart to set up most of the show where they all have to work towards a common goal, it's really good for team building

Edit: I corrected some mistakes bc i didn't read this twice lol

runyan

honestly both the dance performances this round made me laugh, they both made me think of 2016 classic kpop overdramatic choreo, makis random moves was so funny and the whole of the run performance was too, atleast the vocal ones were somewhat good

honestly i'm not surprised about K being ur new bias, since i watched iland when it aired and him and jay were my top picks, he really does just pull you in from the start, although im now a yuma (and kinda harua) bias, i still have a soft spot for him.

ams

K is the real struggle in lunéville, we all just basically accept that your bias is your bias and K is K, he's his entire line hahahaha

sandgirl2000

Too scared to guess your new bias line😆 🆘

This might get a little long, but there’s a lot to say about this episode. PS. Sorry for any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language. Starting with choosing a bias, yeah all I have to say is good luck, because even though Nicholas has been my bias practically since the beginning, I understand the struggle for lunés with all 9 of them. K is such a lovely person, and as someone who has seen him since the egg program aka iland he just naturally attracts people, and I feel that he became more himself during the og4 period because it shows more in &A. I feel like you probably won't be able to find a bias until you get to know each member more. Everyone has a different way to choose a bias, for me, apart from their talent, I need to see more of their personality, so taking your time learning about them might be the way. Now, about the performances, I'll write more about each of them, but I'll say that my favorites were Film Out and Black Swan. I feel like the singing mission was more even between the 2 of them, but for me at least, I felt more with Film out. The reason why it probably feels like Lights was more even is because it was; the line distribution was better on this one. The main difference between the songs is that Lights is faster than Film Out, having more lines, and even though I agree that they could distribute some lines from Yuma, there weren't really that many to work with. Now I have to point out some things purely from my perspective: 1. As someone who watched the show live, it might feel different for someone who is watching, knowing &Team. It will probably feel impossible not to compare the actual level of performance they have with the one they have in the show. 2. By this time, all knowledge I had was iland, and vlogs+ some extra content the og4 made as &Audition boys. So we knew already that K was an amazing dancer and singer, mainly because he's the only one who made it through all iland, EJ and Taki both had storylines in there too, but had less time to show any singing or dancing. We could say the same thing about Nicholas, but as the producers said, he was shown more as a performance trainee. By that time, Film Out was the first time I felt like I could appreciate his singing voice and practically established as my bias. Which is crazy because at that time didn't expect him to become what he is in &team (not bc of lack of talent but because we barely saw him sing, especially bc he has a natural low voice). 3. I guess the falsetto and adlibs will vary in tastes because I actually like them in both of them, but yea I can't explain exactly why Film Out makes me feel more. The only thing I'm sure of is that before they covered the songs, I liked Lights more, but now I like FilmOut way more. So about the dance missions, I'm sorry, but if this were a competition mission like in other shows, I would be hella mad. I know that it's common to see different styles of songs on survival programs to see variety, but if the show is going to give you the song/remix, choose your team members, AND give you the choreography so you don't really have a way to make any changes, I at least expect for both songs to be at the same level. Don't get me wrong, I love Run, but this is a dance mission with practically no lyrics; there's no way to compare a song inspired by a ballet with a song whose main emotions come from its lyrics. So for me: 1. The remix for Run didn't do the song justice; all original feelings were practically gone, and even though I agree that the facial expressions were lacking, I don't know if that would be enough with the choreography and remix they were given. 2. Black Swan is just a better dancing song, with better choreography, and the remix was something similar to the original Art film bts first released. Some individual parts were corny, but nothing big. 3. I'm not a fan of the camera work, especially for Run, but is not that big of a thing. 4. The use of the screens and lights was also a little messy for Run, so my attention was all over the place. With all that, I'm not saying the members couldn't have done better, but as someone who works in the film industry, the product they gave to the trainees wasn't that good. The only thing that makes me let it go is that this part is not really a competition (it is, but is not like they are getting points against each other). Before finishing, I wanted to talk a little about Taki because I'm always going to have a soft spot for him, and he has indeed improved. From iland to &A to &T I feel like he has reached a point that both his voice and growth as a person now shine way more than here. Taki has mentioned before that he didn't really like his voice, he felt uncomfortable, and he was ok having fewer lines because of that. He admitted that he finally started feeling comfortable and liking his voice, and you can clearly see it by how confident he sounds now. Probably all lunés have seen his last cover of Spark on their anniversary, and I cannot express how proud I feel to see him grow over all these years, both as a person and a performer. So enough for this fuckass essay, and I hope you liked the last episode. I know it sounds like I didn't like this one, but it is actually one of my favorites lol. I know you're probably not taking recommendations rn, but if you have time, I highly recommend watching Naissance de &TEAM, which is their first video as a 9-member team, like a behind of the last episode and a little after that.

To be honest, I'm a bit surprised that It was K who got in your new bias line( I originally guessed it was Yuma 😆)...And I don't like the remix ver. of Run, too, and I can't even imagine what the facial expression should be like in this remix....But I do really love Nico's vocal in Film Out (Nico and Yuma also got great reviews in YouTube comments). After one day-free, we could not see your new bias line in the comments 💔 Maybe when you watch more of their performances and contents you will know your heart more~ I just feel that Nico's performance improves A LOT and becomes much more attractive after debut in my personal opinion. But I'm so curious about your new bias line in ranking right now🤔🥹 No matter how it changes, we are still LUNÉ who loves all the 9 members 🩷

Sarah Sky

I agree with your opinion on the Run performance. My biggest problem was the remix. Except for band versions I'm usually not a fan of remixes. I thought you would add Yuma to your bias line since a lot of people fell for him while watching &audition but after watching your reaction of Go One I had a feeling it was K. Fun thing is that K and Nicholas were the first members in &TEAM who became friends, the first time they met on Ks first day as a trainee in Bighit. It was on his birthday if I remember right. I personally have given up restricting my bias line.
