Oh yeah I've definitely noticed that the show emphasizes dancing over vocals overall! And the producers definitely have their own biases in the show, with the most obvious example now being Hanbin having been edited out as much as possible, so yeah screentime issues are real as well...

2025-07-03 15:36:33 +0000 UTCA problem I had with Iland was that we never saw some of the contestants sing. I love Nicholas voice but I can't remember if I ever heard him sing in Iland. If he did he would probably have been in my bias line. If all contestants had equal chances to show their skills and personality on the screen the debut line might have been different.

It's different in global fandom, but in KR and CN, Hoonjay even ranked first when it comes to fan-content (fanfics etc) tags if I remember correctly, and the gap for the ranking between the first place and the rest was big Globaly (mostly on the Western side of the fandom), they are not the biggest ship for both Sunghoon and Jay, but it's still big

2025-06-30 19:22:41 +0000 UTCYeah, they really don't show Hanbin much. And it was especially so obvious in that nano dance with svt scene.. It makes sense to not be able to show everybody when there were 23 of them, but there are only 11 at this point and somehow he was still barely ever shown 🥲
