Managing to dodge through Nian patrols, the scout began approaching the first line of structures. However these were not inert structures, they were in fact living Nian entities constructed in the field as defensive emplacements, like Turrets around a base.
Each featured a unique set of weaponry, akin to the Large-class weaponry recently reverse-engineered from Nian wreckage by the Syndicate R&D core. Perhaps it was from Nians like these we now have these massive weapons.
